“We had a wonderful late lunch there today and it was Awesome. I had Shrimp and Grits my husband had grilled blackened sword fish , Mac and cheese We shared the fried green tomato salad . Everything was lovely. The best food we have had on the Island since we got here and we’ve ate at quite a few of the restaurants recommended in the tourist guide books. We had ate here few years ago and loved it , but forgot the name then I ran across it this morning. I recognized the place from a pic online and we took off! It was amazing! Don’t be looking for a real fancy place but expect some awesome food!!”

“Good salad. Would have been great if it had better quality greens. The green was a pre packaged iceberg base. The rest of the salad was really awesome including the freshly made dressings. I will return but not for this salad. I would suggest washing the lettuce to remove that packaged taste or better yet fresh blended greens.”

“The epitome of five stars! This place was classy and homey. From the very start, the wine was pristine. Also highly recommend the blue crab dip and fried oysters as appetizers. Waiter was very knowledgeable of every single item on the menu, even down to describing the taste of the sauces. Our entrees were succulent in taste and hearty in size. The grilled mahi was on special, pictured here, with jasmine rice and mango salsa with steamed green beans.”

She was very warm and inviting and seated me at the bar as I was solo on this trip...she went out of her way to suggest some wines for me which I found to be perfectly paired to my tastes! The menu is small but *amazing*.... delicious and prepared by hand Just For Me!!!! Love Love this place and will be back soon!! “We love Charlie's when we visit Hilton Head! Simple french style food with a menu that changes based on availability of fish and produce. I always go for the fish, but I'm told the turf options are just as good. Incredible mid priced wine list with top notch tasting wines. (Monday nights bottles are half price (under $100). Try the pate and/or the smoked salmon appetizer - they are both terrific. The deserts are excellent.”

“Based on all the wonderful reviews, we decided to try this pizza this past Monday night. The place was packed and we waited at least 30 minutes for a booth, and then, at least another 30 for our food. We were told the wait would be much longer if we opted to order takeout. The server was nice, but they were clearly not prepared for the amount of customers they were dealing with. Several people walked out. We ordered two gluten free and two regular pies. The sauce was extremely salty. The pizza is incredible where we live up north, so maybe our expectations were set too high. If you are looking for Southern New England type pizza, this just isn’t it. The dough and sauce are just no where near the same. My two boys did not finish a large, and that is highly unusual.”

Service was top notch too, my drink never got lower than half gone without being asked for a refill. We had a late lunch, therefore we ordered appetizers and drinks. Lime shrimp, red and yellow beets with crusted goat cheese, and lobster nachos. All 3 were presented well and all delicious. The food was what you would expect for a place that lives on its location and doesn't feel a need to impress you with the food. It was edible but far from good. The fries were soggy, the tacos were served in cold tortillas, and the pulled pork was barely 'OK'.”

“Fun little donut shop an Uber driver suggested to visit while we are on vacation. Cool to see the donut making process while waiting for your order. Yummy and fresh donuts. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars is the fact that there is only one table available inside. There seemed to be room on the other side of the wall for 1-2 small tables? Just stinks if it’s a normal hot day and you planned to sit inside. Luckily there are near by restaurants and benches where you can sit outside.”
