They start you out with complimentary chips, a fresh salsa bar and a warm bean dip. The chips were amazing, freshly made and still warm with just the right amount of salt. “Prepare for a food coma! This place has the best over the top biscuits in the greater Greenville area. I love specialty biscuit shops and have been to most, if not all, for brunch or breakfast. Maverick Biscuit has the best jams, butter flavors,and ice coffee. The biscuits are huge and fluffy. You will not be able to finish it all. I had the biscuit with breaded, fried chicken (it comes with a white meat breast), fried goat cheese, a yummy jam, and the biscuit is topped with an egg of your choice. This is one of their popular biscuits, but I can't remember the name. Check out the pictures or show it to the server if you're interested. I highly recommend this restaurant. We were walking at Conestee trail, then stopped by Maverick Biscuit for Brunch. It was the perfect way to end the morning walk. It's not a fancy place, but it was very clean. The staff is also extremely friendly. I can't wait to stop by again in the future.”

“My family and I journeyed to Mauldin to see the new location and it was worth the trip. I walked in the door with my four year old and the first thing she said was “it smells delicious in here”. I was pleasantly surprised with the seating options available inside. The building seems rather small from the outside but there’s still plenty of room to dine in. Bar height and traditional table seating options which I appreciate being a family of four. Restrooms are well kept and stocked which is always important. We took ours to go this time for the sake of my five month old son who isn’t feeling his best. The staff were all super friendly. Despite being busy at the time, they kept smiling and offering great customer service. My husband and I both got the giant and a regular for my little girl. As you can see I don’t have a sandwich pic, that’s because they didn’t last long. I can definitely say this location is worth the revisit. We live in Fountain Inn but I received an invitation to try this location by Jed and unfortunately didn’t get to see him this visit but maybe next time.”

“We use to have a Burger King just down the road afew years ago. New location in the area. Difficult to get to during busy traffic times Went by around 8 on a Saturday evening, lights were off in the lobby. Seemed like they were about to shut down. Lady at the counter was nice. One employee kept going outside to smoke (didn’t wash his hands when he came in) Lobby/drink station was alittle dirty. Food was good. Good value.”

“Finally got to try this place out with my husband for dinner. I got the donor steak plate and he got the steak sandwich with a side of falafel. Each came with the four special sauces/drizzles which was delicious. The falafel was super fresh and tasty. I liked that the food overall wasn’t too salty. Super happy to have this new spot in our neighborhood! Def coming back.”

“Unique shop located in the Hampton Station. Chill atmosphere and friendly staff really added to our visit. Mead is like wine, but made with honey, if I recall correctly. It is very nice! We tried a flight, and I'd definitely recommend doing that if you've not tried mead before. They have several selections on tap to choose from. Also there's a small menu of items if you'd like. But Hampton Station has several restaurants on site.”

“Oak and Fire hits the nail on the head and we will be back again soon! The restaurant has switched gears to a more relaxed atmosphere with the opportunity to order up front and have the food brought to your table. You clean up after yourself and get your own refills just like any other "order at the counter" restaurant. Definitely give the garlic knots a try as they have real chunks of garlic, come with a bowl of delicious marinara sauce, and are topped with a nice sprinkle of parmesan should you choose to add it. The burger was flavorful, juicy, and cooked just right nestled on a home made bun. The pizza options are unique for more adventurous eaters, but they have the basics, too! I ordered one with a honey glaze and oh my heavens... It was perfection. The staff were friendly and super helpful for our first time here. We will be recommending Oak and Fire to family and friends! Don't miss out on this place!”

Not only is the food amazing good quality and generous portions. The service is outstanding! I always like to go at least a few times before I give a review that recommends a place to make sure that the quality and service is consistent. A perfect description would be my first and second visit we're like one cohesive trip. When we came back the second time it felt like we had never left everyone knew us and it was just as good as an experience as the first time. The food is very fresh hot and comes out quickly. The portion sizes are just right to make you feel like you're getting a little extra, and it tastes amazing! This will definitely be in our normal rotation when we want something quick and excellent!”

“Overall I give 5 stars. Service, vibe and food was all great! The patelitos where good, came with beef cheese and chicken, chicken was the best one. The plantains were cooked well, just needed some salt but not a big deal since you can add it. The drinks are also good, a good amount of alcohol in them compared to most other places who’s drinks usually taste watered down. They also have a nice outside area, great for spring/summer time. Overall a really good place. I will be coming back!”

We ordered the beef bolgogi ( very spicy I loved it) a honey Chipotle chicken wrap ( tasted like the same sauce in the beef bowl) and chicken bacon ranch wrap for the misses. Over good experience and friendly staff. Oh and the Mac and cheese was really really good is was a creamy velvety sauce not a think curdled one so I enjoyed it as well as the toddler with us who is usually picky. “Ate a late lunch at Anchor Raw Bar and Pineapple Express, then went to Yogi’s to see what all they had. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hubs got a red velvet milkshake and I got a combination shake of blue Smurf and watermelon sorbet. Both shakes were delicious and creamy. They also had macarons, so I will definitely be back!”
