“The only BBQ place worth going. It is an hour drive each way for lunch and I gladly make the trip. I take orders for my family and bring the ones that have some time to spare. They now take credit cards so it is much easier. My favorite is the pork with medium sauce and their baked beans. I get one for lunch and one to go for later. Outside seating works even in bad weather, dress warm and sit under cover. They have pork in a frozen sealed package with sauce in a side container. This can stay in your freezer for months and on a night when you want an easy dinner it goes from freezer to table in less than half an hour and tastes just as good as when you were there. Ask for extra sauce, the reheat seems to need quite a bit. We get a hot and a mild and mix with the pork right before putting on a bun. The beans freeze well also, just not in their cups. We use freezer bags for the sauce and beans.”

“Great little family operated sandwich shop with delicious fresh & homemade meats and soup. The space looks great and even though there are a lot of self serve tables, this is anything but fast food. I've been here three times since they opened two week ago and they get very busy at lunchtime. Everything is fresh and made to order on one small grill. This is not your assembly line, "pick your ingredients" sandwich shop. If you want amazing food with amazing fresh bread, have patience, call ahead or go before/after the lunch rush. It is definitely worth the wait and you will taste and see the difference. Best burger around.”

I ordered the goat cheese salad and it didn't meet my expectations at all. My husband ordered the lamb and his food portion was tiny. Even after ordering an appetizer it didn't feel satiating at all. We had to go to another restaurant later because what we ate felt like an appetizer by itself. Go here if you aren't a big eater and just want a pleasant evening out.”
