“Hello food coma 😴 I finally checked out the new Broke Leg BBQ in Pickens and boy…were they packed!? Very comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. Prices are also wallet-friendly. Since this was my first time here, I had to go with the Pulled Pork Sandwich Plate that comes with two sides. Delicious bbq!!! Very moist and flavorful. The housemade bbq sauce has a sweet and tangy flavor, however they also have a mustard-based sauce if you’re into that. I fell in love with the Corn Salad… it has crushed chili cheese Fritos on top that gave it a fun, tasty crunch. I also got the Carolina Twinkies, which are Jalapeno poppers that are wrapped in BACON. 🤤”

“I ate @ Glendas recently... I love those little, "hole in the wall" type places. I had the fried chicken okra collard greens and some bomb A mashed potatoes ! My mouth watered the whole freaking time! From start to finish!!! Made me wanna smack my momma! Then with every other bite I washed it down with the best sweet tea I've ever tasted ! Wow! It was an amazing meal to say the least..... My server was Desirae ! She greeted me with a smile and recommended the fried chicken! Oh boy! it was good, great,and everything I needed to come back and get some more! Ty so much for the wonderful food and even better service!!!!! I felt right at home ! “Occasionally a good cook wants to Ty someone else’s cooking. I had the smoked oxtails (which I had no idea they were smoked). I called in my order based on what was available to view online via door dash menu & actually just picked it up. If I had known, I would have selected something else. I actually don’t care for smoked meats. So the taste was unexpected. However, if you like smoked meats I think you would love them. It was served with two side options of which I selected jasmine rice, collards and added macaroni. The collards featured flavors of vinegar and sugar and a semi sweet ham aftertaste. The macaroni was pretty good and had a cheese compote and a cheese topping. I finished the macaroni. There was a lot of food left after I got full. It was definitely enough for two ppl to eat 1 meal or have leftovers for later. I paid about $32 total. I am interested in tasting other items on the menu.”

“I LOVE the variety of products sold here. Store is pretty clean and well organized. The guys in the back meat dept was very friendly and helpful. I ordered some grub while I was here....it was really good. But the ladies barely open their mouth when calling out your ticket#. A microphone is definitely needed. I agree with others, some of these prices are rather ridiculous. My cashier today was not friendly. Yet she was very friendly with those who spoke her language. I still wished her a Merry Christmas. Yet she still gave me a hateful stare. Will I come back? Yes! But I just won't go to the cashier with the older lady with the beautiful thick shape”

“Waiting until the grand opening was over until they got settled into a groove. Absolutely nothing outstanding or extra ordinary. Just a plan as day burger. If you don't want to talk to someone then go order at the kiosk and they will call your name when ready. If you have any allergies then you need to go and order at the counter with a person. Ordered no onions as I have an allergy and they still had some onions mixed in my lettuce. Lexington did not need just another burger joint. So save your time and go to FiveGuys where the burgers and fries are amazing!!”
