Hundreds of people flock to their tiny restaurant, stand outside patiently in the elements even, just to get their cashew chicken and homemade egg rolls for less than you would spend for one meal at a fast food restaurant. The vibes are always positive, homecoming and it's inspiring to watch her and her husband happily work as a two man team. They are the ONLY reason I go to Oak Ridge. Nothing else in that town is worth seeing. O.R. is lucky to have such a memorable landmark!”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful as the elderly gentleman I was with struggled to walk through the door as I was holding him up by rushing to his aid and holding the door until he was safely through and seated. They did the same when we left. One of the employees who was disabled himself made it a point to speak to us and wish us a nice day. “I enjoyed this dinner! You can see the kitchen through some windows. The atmosphere is very moody. It's outer appearance does not reflect what you find inside the doors. It's like walking into another world when you enter. It was rather noisy, but that's partially due to how popular this place is. We managed to find a seat just fine. We customized a pizza, and we were not disappointed! In my opinion, they didn't add quite enough of the toppings we chose, but we were still very pleased with the pizza! It was also nice to see real bacon on a pizza. It looked like they cooked it up right before adding it to the pizza. Delicious!”

“Locals took me here for a farewell lunch after 2 weeks in Oak Ridge. It was busy, but staff were courteous, attentive, and generous with tortilla chips and sauce while our meals were being prepared. On request, they provided an especially hot sauce that we mixed with the regular salsa to suit our tastes. They were glad to accommodate requests to omit rice from individual orders. Even so, the volume served was a bit much for me, but maybe ideal for younger, hungrier people. Next time in Oak Ridge, I would go again.”

“Great reasonably priced gem in Oak Ridge. The nuclear energy must be powering the very bubbly and attentive staff. Fantastic service. Great slow smoked ribs. Fish was tasty and tender. Everyone in our group was complimentary of their meals. The cornbread is not sweetened--a good normal southern cornbread in my opinion. The dock behind the restaurant is a great little romantic nook at night. Good place for the whole family, a group or date night.”
