“I’ve been a regular at Cru for years now. Stopped in there for a Friday lunch - rarely a crowd during weekday/lunch, which is a plus for me. I brought my son and we had a great time. I love their salads and usually add seared scallops for a treat. I tried the Tower Salad (see pic - tons of shrimp inside).... very tasty. I also had their Shrimp/Crab bisque which is on my “usual” list. Perfect “mini burger” for my son. The staff offered to put extra cherries in his Shirley-Temple drink. Probably the favorite of his lunch. The staff is very attentive. The manager stopped by and remembered me from my last visit (maybe a few months ago). The staff is always on point for refilling beverages and checking on you... (again, especially at lunch during the week). If you’ve passed by Cru in Turkey Creek, stop in and give them a try for an awesome lunch. You won’t be disappointed.”

“Our favorite family restaurant!! We go all the time! I’m a newer vegetarian and LOVE that they have both an impossible burger and a veggie burger. Both of which are AMAZING! My husband love the whiskey river wrap, chicken sandwich, or burger. The cheese sticks are probably the best I’ve ever had and I hesitate ordering them anywhere else! There’s never a day that I wouldn’t go for Red Robin!”

“it took a little while for a server to read us this particular time but in general I do love this overall location. And this is one of the best locations that my favorite sauce Caribbean jerk is put on fluidly and very saucy. Every other location I've ever been to it's almost like it's dry and plainly breaded and then barely dipped in the sauce. So I really have to appreciate them for this manner and the amount of TVs that they have in the position that they are placed are very adequate to have fun with sports! Go enjoy, average one of the meal place and you make get good service and you may not.”

“Visiting from out of town for a funeral. Our family went in for a later supper; they were not that busy. Service was slow. The waitress stood at the end of the table & passed the drinks down the table. There were 9 of us but she could have delivered each h of us our drinks. One of the servers helping bring out food spilled black beans down the arm & back of my granddaughter. They didn't acknowledge it at first but someone mentioned it to another server who went & got the manager who offered a wet wipe or seltzer water to clean off her blouse. They did give her a free dessert. Not sure what I expected but more like part of her meal taken off; she was sharing a 2 for $25 with her uncle. If we find ourselves back in Knoxville, we will not be eating at that location.”

“My wife and I just recently discovered this little place tucked in alongside Campbell Station Road near I-40. We shared a pizza. This was easily the best pizza we have ever had in Knoxville - and we have tried every place in town. The toppings are generous, the sauce is beyond delicious, and the crust! Oh, my - the crust! It’s brushed with some kind of magical concoction that tastes like herb-infused olive oil and is baked to absolute perfection. While you are there, do not miss the chance to sample some of the “special tea”, located in an inconspicuous little urn next to the soda machine. I have never in my life had such a delicious cold beverage. It’s amazing. It’s a blend of rich iced tea mixed with honey, ginger, mint, and sage. Yes, sage. You won’t believe how flavorful and refreshing this tea is. What a gem this little place is. The food is spectacular and the people working there were super friendly. It’s our new favorite!”

“My friends and I go to the Applecake Tea Room quite often as we pass the exit when going to a Ceramic Shop in Lenoir City. We are very pleased and the food is always good. We do wish they would put less broccoli and spinach and more egg in the quiche. Most of the food we have gotten has been good and we love the orange tea. We love to look at all the interesting decor. We don't really consider it a tea room as they have regular restaurant dishes and it isn't decorated as a tea room would be. No fancy porcelain tea pots or cups and saucers. Never the less we like it and will continue to go there.”

“Oh my gosh. Two words: Holy Shitake. Yep, that is the best pizza I've ever had. If you like garlic, you will love it. Started off with the spinach salad, which was so good with dried cherries and candied pecans. Yum. Will be back. The ambience was the only down side. It is more of a casual lunch time kind of place as opposed to a nighttime dinner atmosphere. No big deal, I guess, if you're not looking for a romantic evening. The food makes up for that!”
