Restaurant

“A great sportsbar with a great atmosphere. They have some good food from what I've heard as well, though I didn't get a chance to try it while I was there. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the drinks were reasonably priced, and perhaps best of all, they have free pool tables 4 days a week.”

Chez Guevara Restaurant

Address: 8023 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919, USA

Restaurant

“When you talk about a hole in the wall, this is the place. Once inside it’s decorated in an eclectic mix of Elvis and Salvador Dali themed items. The green salsa is great and the red is even better.... save some for your second basket of chips. I ordered the Cozumel which was several styles of corn wrapped goodness smothered in cheese. Worth stopping in at, and you won’t leave hungry.”

Smoothie King

“Smoothie King has a huge selection of all protein smoothies. My youngest son loves the kid’s selection of smoothies with healthy fruits and vegetables. Thanks Haylee for making my family the best fresh made to order smoothie in the world.”

“Service was good. Food was same as all the other sonics around. Only difference is a different town. Don't get me wrong I enjoy eating at sonic but they could try something different with their menu. I'd like to see something spicy and original on there. Who knows maybe they will do something spicy worth eating in the future.”

Makino Japanese Buffet

Address: 8217 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919, USA

Restaurant

“We stopped Makino Japanese Buffet for lunch. There were too many different types of rolls and hot dishes to name. They had a crispy shrimp dish that was fantastic. I ate several of the rolls and they were all excellent. I noticed that they did not put out huge trays of anything. As soon as a tray was empty it was refilled. The sushi chefs were constantly busy preparing rolls. Nothing had a chance to sit and dry out. Everything was fresh and hot. We would definitely return if in the area.”

Cicis Pizza

Restaurant Meal takeaway

“Had a great lunch and good dessert. It was a good experience. Servers kept fresh pizza on the bar and friendly service. Sweet tea is good too. Dining areas were clean.”

Misaki Japanese Steak House and Sushi

Address: 8207 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919, USA

Restaurant

“From reservation to check, this place dotted every "I" and crossed every "T". We were promptly greeted upon arrival. We were seated in an awesome room with privacy (didn't ask for it, just received it). Ordering was prompt, didn't have to wait very long for our chef Jon to arrive. The waitress throughout the meal was very tentative, didn't have to once ask for a refill -she was on point with it. Onto the food. My God, the portions are just insanity. Be hungry or well prepared to take another full meal home with you for the next day. I've eaten at many hibachi restaurants, and this one takes the cake on portion generosity. The entire world experience was amazing. I will 100% be returning in the near future! Ask for Jon, extremely personable chef that will keep you entertained. Extremely satisfied customer!”

Wendy's

Buddy's Bar-B-Q

Address: 8402 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919, USA

Restaurant

“It was busy around lunch time. The BBQ is really good, but the sides were kinda - meh. They were out of tea when I was there. Not sure if they were just short handed or busy. Oh well, the BBQ was good.”

Burger King

Address: 8412 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919, USA

Restaurant

“I gave up meat a couple of years ago. But when I heard about the Impossible Burger here, I suddenly wanted one. It is plant based and it tastes exactly like the Whoppers I remembered. I don't like mayo and I substituted mustard. Also, I like that the patty is broiled (I asked!) rather than heavily fried. It is huge...and I got 2 meals from it. Highly recommend this choice for folks either trying to cut back on meat or eliminate it.”

Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

Address: 8390 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919, USA

“During our family visit we shared our first dinner at Cheddar's Kitchen and it was awesome. The salmon was cooked perfectly with tasty veggies and a delicious dessert afterwards. The staff took care of everything and made sure no peanuts were on my girls dessert. We enjoyed the food, the service, and the time spent with family. Thanks for taking care of us all”

Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

Address: 9314 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37922, USA

Restaurant

“I have to be honest. I really wasn’t terribly impressed. The floor was sticky. So sticky, in fact that it seems to have been done that way on purpose. The service was tolerable. There appeared to be only one server and she was working at flank speed. The food was ok, but not great. I would have to drive past a bunch of better eateries to ever want to go there again.”

Chuy's

Address: 9235 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37922, USA

Restaurant

“We Loved our dinner. Stopped in with no idea of what to expect. So glad we did. The food was awesome. They have different kinds of sauces you can add onto your enchiladas or what not. Good food. Good portions. Also they have this taco bar thing on weekdays from 4-7 I think. We got in eight at 4. It had Chips. Salsa. Queso. Ground beef and beans. For FREE when ordering a meal or something. We loved it and appreciated that taco bar more than we would have ever thought. We will come back here again”

Jason's Deli

Address: 133 N Peters Rd, Knoxville, TN 37923, USA

Restaurant Meal takeaway

“I had the Reuben and vegetarian business partner had the salad bar. Sandwich was actually too big to really enjoy. I love sauerkraut but there was way to much on the sandwich. Made it hard to eat. Ended up eating the Kraut first then was able to fit sandwich in my mouth. Partner liked the salad bar. It was a Sunday and busy. Was impresse d with bus boys staying on top of the turn over.”

Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill

Address: 105 Moss Grove Blvd, Knoxville, TN 37922, USA

Restaurant

“Nice food and if you load up on all the options it is a good deal for a combo. Yes it seems expensive to spend 12 dollars on a burrito, chips, salsa/cheese, and a drink but if you load that burrito up with everything they off you end up with a football sized burrito wrapped in foil that weighs 4 freaking pounds. Whether you choose ground beef, chicken, or steak they will put the same amount on. Only shrimp costs extra. There are several options of toppings or fixings and take advantage of those. It is similar to Subway in that if you get a turkey sandwich with just cheese and lettuce it is expensive and not worth it. But have them pile on everything available and you could legit make it into 3 or 4 meals. I used to not like Salsarita's because it seems pricey but after it dawned on me that a person could go crazy and get every addition available it wasn't a bad deal for the price and yummy food. I now love the place. Pro tip: mix in some of the chili lime sauce with the queso sauce for the chips and and you'll be dipping those tortilla chips in a little bit of something special. I know the place is a chain and Knoxville hates chains but it isn't all that bad. I am looking forward to going back and diving into my football burrito with a knife, spoon, and fork. Give it a chance!”

Altruda's

Address: 125 N Peters Rd, Knoxville, TN 37923, USA

Restaurant

“Yesterday was my birthday so hubby asked me to choose anywhere. I felt like Italian food and we had been here once before and had an amazing meal, so I wanted to go again. The only problem is, I'm now gluten sensitive. Hubby checked the online menu and didn't see any gluten free pasta options, so he called to double check. They confirmed that they don't but they said that I could bring my own gluten free pasta and they would cook it for me into one of their dishes! That was so great! It was perfectly cooked (gluten free pasta cooks differently than standard pasta) and, naturally, combined with their meat and sauce, was just as amazing! Their salad is always super delicious, and the atmosphere can't be beat, with its soft lighting and excellent music! The service is among the best I've had; not over-zealous nor prone to waiting too long between table stops. I was aware of how they waited on the tables around us, not just our table. They are all well trained in hospitality, and the expectations from the owner. The portions are more than ample, and we always have leftovers. If you get a chance, go here! Beats the pants off of chain restaurants any day!”

Culver's

Address: 9113 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37923, USA

Restaurant

“Culver's is a great hamburger and custard place. It is very family friendly. The prices are very reasonable based on the high quality of the food. The burgers are very good. Better than most sit down restaurants. The custard is awesome! They have a huge variety of shakes. They have gluten free buns for the burgers. Whenever we are close to a Culver's, we always try to eat there. And, they have a 10% discount for veterans!”

Carolina Ale House

Address: 9045 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37923, USA

Restaurant

“Comfortable Environment, Good Grill/Bar Food, Good Beer Selection, Businesslike Service, Slow TV Service There are TVs everywhere, and they have access to any sporting event that is out there. The patio is great, the have fans that keep it comfortable even in August. The breeze blowing through the garage-like doors is hard to beat. I like their food. Lately, I’ve enjoyed their Beer-battered Cheese Curds. It comes out to the table pretty quickly and hot. The beer selection includes many of my favorites, Dragon’s Milk, Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale. The one frustration is that I will need to repeatedly ask the servers to set the TV to the game we came to watch. It usually takes over 20 minutes, 35 minutes most recently. I don’t expect it to change instantly, but I would think between 5 and 8 minutes is a reasonable expectation.”

The Soup Kitchen Express

Address: 9222 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37922, USA

Restaurant

“I come here at least 2-3 times a week for lunch. Every time I come the customer service is outstanding but most importantly the food is absolutely incredible. I will sometimes joke with the staff that I failed to find something I don’t like. I recommend coming on Tuesdays for the special. Great price with unbeatable recipes!!! 11/10 in my opinion.”
