“We had the Indian Taco and Crispy Catfish and loved both. To note the Indian Taco is drizzled horseradish tasting sauce and uses the same batter as the fried bread starter. Be patient with the server they’re really trying to be fast and nice. It will give you time to digest the many free starters they give you. This was the only time I’ve actually liked the taste of fried okra. There’s not much signage outside the building so you may think you’re in the wrong place. There’s a biblical dinner theatre located in the same building. Don’t let the placement of the restaurant scare you away.”

“My wife and I had breakfast at the Pigeon Forge Sunliner Diner, Saturday, December 14. We had to wait approximately 15-20 minutes for our table, so that gave my wife time to browse around the gift shop. The whole atmosphere is very retro and reminds one of the 50's diners, like Mel's Diner on Happy Days. The staff were all doing an exceptional job keeping up with the steady flow of business. Our server was ANDREW. Couldn't have had a better person. He noticed I was a veteran from my hat, and shared that he was, too. We had a great time sharing war stories and ribbing each other about our respective branches of service. He helped my wife with her choice by giving her options she didn't know she could have. The food was very good and on par with the other two diners here in the area. We're going to have to try the dinner menu after the holiday season when things slow down here. By all means, ask for ANDREW when you go. He's a great guy and will take good care of you.”

“Absolutely fantastic. The food was so rich and full of flavor it was a shame I couldn't take home a doggy bag on the road back across the state. I was really impressed by how they have so many options for sharing a plate with the table. It was a real money saver and the perfect amount for our family of three. “Hands down the best brisket I’ve ever had anywhere! It was so perfectly smoked it fell apart when you touched it with your fork. Not too moist not too dry just perfect. The sauces complemented the meat very well too along with your choice of two sides. Employees were very friendly, the prices were very reasonable, and the dining area was very clean! We’re only in town for the week but we plan on stopping in again before we go back home it was that good!”

“Believe me when I say this! Hands down the BEST hamburger I ever had through all of my travels. I took my fiancé to the smoky’s for her 21 birthday for vacation and found this place passing through. So thankful we did stop and eat here. Will never forget it, food so good I would go an hour out of the way for it! “My son loves crab legs that's his favorite thing to eat. We live in Knoxville and he is favorite place to go for any special occasion as harpoon Harry's to get crab legs. When we went they have to be out of the kind that he wanted but he was not disappointed with the crab legs he got. “Burgers were really good and flavorful and the fries were to die for as always. Five Guys have the best Fries and you can even get Malt Vinegar to go on them. The downfall here is the hit it puts on the pocket book. The sting was a little over $30 to get out of there for two people with 2 (1/3# burgers), a regular fries to share, and 2 soft drinks. Think I will go back to the steak house and get two Steak dinners with 12 oz. Sirloin strip, fries, veggie, and drink for same price.”
