“Best beef burrito in Bastrop (and I believe I have tried them all). One reason it tastes so good is they put fresh pico, which most places around here put lettuce and tomatoes (which gets soggy). “It was so nice to come to a restaurant that tasted like the best home cooked soul food it ever had. Everything we tasted was delicious! I personally had the Braggin' rights baked chicken. The chicken was tender fall off the bone perfectly seasoned. Candied yams tasted like dessert and the green beans were delicious with shredded pork. Highly recommend this place!”

“Flavor explosion!! Have you ever been to a food truck park, with so many options, and you catch a smell that tells your brain to turn that direction? The sweet smell of pecan wood, rolling out the smoke stack, definitely is the start of something you know is going to be a wonderful tastebud adventure. After tasting, almost everything on the menu, I can say my tastebuds were in overdrive. From the slow smoked pulled pork tacos to the slow smoked pulled pork Mac and cheese, the smoked armadillo egg, the double smash burger with double smoked bacon and everything in between, you will be back, like I did, to excitedly work your way through the numerous menu options. The awesome thing is that new items are rotated in weekly but they still keep the staples that you can come back for daily. Let me also add that the vegan/vegetarian options with smoked fruits and veggies are top notch. The smoked Jack fruit tastes just like pulled pork. If you love smoked food, not just traditional BBQ, you absolutely have to add Smoked Love on your list of places to try on your next trip through Bastrop or to your lunch rotation for the locals. “There's a ton of staff ready to help you there. Theater is super clean. Drinks from the bar are well made. I haven't been to the movies since before the pandemic but apparently they don't do free refills on popcorn or drinks anymore thanks to the pandemic so be ready to spend more on snacks. But that's the only downfall I can think of.”

“The course was a nice course and I look forward to playing it again in the spring when things get green and the trees are full. Fun course. One of my favorite signature holes ever. Just a crazy drop for a par three. Sand traps are washed out and need to be re-done. It could be a hidden gem and the new owners are working on the course to help it become one. My experience there was a good one and I would recommend playing it.”

“Everything was very fresh and delicious. I had the La Reina tower and it's easily enough food for two so don't let the $25 price tag sway you. The sauce definitely has a spicy kick to it. My server Jackie was great, very attentive. My drink never was less than half full. The additional wait staff continually check in as well, almost "too attentive". They seem very customer focused and are turning out some delicious ceviche. It's BYOB so if you need a Corona to wash it down, just bring your own and they will provide the ice bucket.”

“Understand you get what you pay for at ~$25 a round bc they have to cover staff and gas on the carts. If you have pay more, do not play here. The fairway grass was in horrible shape, almost comical even, when I teed off on hole 10 drove the ball straight 280 only to find it in a puddle (one of many and it hasn't been raining). Grass is just short weeds and hard solid ground so getting touch on approach shots is tough. Scenic and challenging par 3s have distances way off on scorecards so bring your binoculars to calculate. Greens are pretty easy to read, mostly flat, grass quality I'd go 4/10 on. I did like a few of the holes distance and design wise though and maybe 2-3 holes have legit scenic views. Interesting experience driving in from Austin.”

I'd go there just to be around her! She will bend over backwards to please you. The home-made flour tortillas are unbeatable! Food is good and obviously all cooked frsh in house.
