“We go to Chef Cao at least one a month. From where we live, between Magnolia and Plantersville, it's a bit over 40 miles. That's how good the food is. Noting the primarily asian customers, I would say the food is likely fairly authentic. We just think that it's very good. Nice restaurant, apparently does a large takeout business also.”

“I go to The Canteen regularly. They have a casual decor and inventive menu. I like the quiet comfortable atmosphere and the outdoor patio is very attractive. Unlike too many College Station restaurants, you can actually go outside and not see or hear cars, what a pleasure. They do change the menu around. The first time I went I had a fascinating bone marrow on toast, which was really tasty. Lately I've been eating gnocchi with mushrooms. They usually have a decent IPA on draft, though the selection is not large.”

“Was invited here for business lunch and liked it so much that came back next day. Normally, I am not a big fan of tacos, but the creativity and selection are very impressive. I tried several different tacos and each had a unique taste and even texture. Interesting combination of flavors and just enough kick to make them addictive.. “Thanks to Mickey’s cute personality, our visit to Sonic was superb! Our order came out fast, Mickey made sure our order was as we ordered. She provided all condiments, straws and napkins. “Good food and drink in an Irish environment with plenty of TVs. I enjoyed my shepherd's pie and my spouse enjoyed her jalapeno grilled cheese with our black and tan beers. The prices are a little high, so try to make it in by happy hour by 6pm. Also don't be like us and pay for parking because they will validate your for the parking garage if you eat there.”

“We come here often, and they never disappoint. Sitting outside is great for kids as they can play on the green area while we keep eating or get drinks. All the burgers are great with option to make them a bison or vegan burger available if you want. Happy hour til 630 will get you great drinks for 5 bucks and the appetizers for $5. We get there early and then grab ice cream at hey sugar around the corner. It's a great time no matter who you are with.”

“Great food. Wonderful prices. Staff is extremely friendly and they're incredibly fast. I have seen lines wrap around the building that have taken a mere 20 minutes to get through. The drive through is slightly confusing (look for the signs) and the interior is not my favorite seating, but it makes up for it with the decades of local hand drawn art on the receipt wall. This is a local treasure.”

“Three vegan options? Yes please! I got the kids PB&J with gluten-free/vegan waffles and it was amazing. The stuff was helpful, with the menu too. My only qualm was that they brought my boyfriend's food out well before mine, so he was done while I was still waiting. So they need to work on their server timing, but despite this we will definitely be back!”

“Thought the menu had great variety and prices were all reasonable too. The food was all in all pretty good too. We did not have the best service though. Nice but slow - we were there 2 hours with just appetizer and meals. We had one issue one of our meals and to fix it with a new entree meant WE had to pay for an extra entree. Also, we were sat on the patio which was nice but everyone out there at 7:30 was there to eat but one group and they were in the middle just drinking and swearing so loud the other patrons (not the restaurant staff) had to tell them to tone it down since children were out there too.”

“DBQ has the best brisket in town-no need for bbq sauce! Their pork ribs are delicious and seasoned well. The food park is a great place to enjoy their food during lunch or after a night of enjoying Northgate. They catered our wedding and did a fantastic job! Even my mother-in-law, who is extremely hard to please (classic situation, I know), enjoyed the brisket so much that she had us bring one for Christmas dinner. “Four friends went to Lupe Tortilla in College Station Texas for lunch on a Sunday before the church crowd arrived. Our waitress was a little too over eager, she could have checked on us less often. “I’ll start out saying that the serves was quick, considering there was about 10 of us ordering drinks. It was clean. The split drink was is a fun idea and for the most part those drinks where good. However, the Mangonada was horrible! It would’ve been good had it not been SO salty!!! Way too much spice! Way too much! It was very disappointing because it looks fun and it’s a neat idea. I don’t recommend getting that. But the other drinks were good.”
