“Ogi’s is a hidden gem in McKinney! I work within walking distance and decided to try them for lunch and so glad I did! The owners are so warm and friendly and make you feel like family! The food is amazing! I went for lunch thinking I would try a sandwich and instead opted for their lunch special which was beef stroganoff. The slices of beef were so tender you could cut with a fork.. and the homemade egg noodles were a pleasant surprise from the typical boxed pastas! I tried the zucchini soup which was very tasty with just the right amount of seasoning. Everything is made in-house and the pastries/desserts looked amazing. I tried a sampling of the baklava which was melt-in-your mouth good! I grabbed a piece of key lime cheesecake to bring home to my husband along with several different varieties of sausage which I can’t wait for us to try!! You won’t be disappointed if you give this wonderful, deli/bakery a try!!”

“Good service and atmosphere. Went on a random Tuesday so no reservations were needed. Food was good but a bit overpriced. I had the scallops, which came with three. My companion had the short ribs which was a heartier portion. The tea infused vodka drink was tasty. Brussel sprouts and avocado toast were both good. Overall, a nice experience. My companion wasn't overly impressed by the quality of short ribs. I felt the food was a tad pretentious as nothing wowed but overall had a nice experience.”

“Had dinner there last night. Loved the downtown ambiance. The waitress was a sweetheart and even though she was new she tried very hard to please everyone in our party of six. My "Tommy Bowl" with grilled chicken was perfect and full of good flavors. Unfortunately the breaded chicken on the same bowl was bland. Our mixed drinks were pretty strong and the alcohol overpowered the other flavors in the margaritas and martinis. The prices were a little high, however I expected that in the downtown area. I will be back.”

“Man we love Rye. Just had brunch and it was another great food experience delivered by incredibly nice people. I had their eggs Benedict special which was amazing. Wife had fried chicken and grits. The most decadent grits ever. Bloody Mary was fantastic as are all their cocktails. We’ve had dinner, late night craft cocktails and outstanding desserts with friends, and also a wine dinner there and it is always outstanding. The small plates approach to dinner lets you try several of their creations and keeps the conversation lively. Great place to take friends.”

“Friday evening managed to snag a comfy bar seat for 2 and have an amazing salmon salad. Waiter was attentive and kept us updated on the progress of our food. Would have been perfect if he had remembered to bring the fries that we ordered and better yet had brought them before our meal came out as an appetizer. “We have been several times for the buffet as we were celebrating a special occasion as a family. The food (brunch) is very good with a varied selection. The chef is very good as is the pastry chef. The buffet includes a craving station. The wait staff are courteous, attentive and are knowledgeable about the menu. For a grand fine dining experience you can't go wrong here. I do recommend making reservations.”

From the time you walk in the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful “A Place to remember” tables have a excellent light display which is really really hard to find I’ve only seen this in Singapore. My meal was New Orleans Style Crab Cakes absolutely of the charts delicious. My main course was Beef Tenderloin Burgundy, enjoyed each and every bite. “This is a local restaurant for us. We have been there multiple times, sometimes as a couple and sometimes with family. We have never been disappointed with the food or the service. “The Mellow Mushroom is awesome! This was the first time I was ever there. Our server Jamie was super friendly and very helpful. She told us what the Mellow Mushroom was known for and gave us suggestions. We had the pretzel bites to start, they were very good and the cheese sauce they brought with it was enough where we still had leftover cheese after the pretzels were gone which is the opposite of what other places give you. But, the main event was definitely the pizza! We ordered two different pies and I honestly couldn't tell which one I enjoyed more they were both very good! Thank you Jamie and Mellow Mushroom for making my experience and didn't tell anyone there but, my birthday a terrific day. I will definitely come back to the place that has the best pizza in the area!”
