“Food was really good (aside from the side salad). Went here with a group and wouldn’t recommend doing that, as it took nearly 40 minutes to get our food. The place was clean, comfortable, but a little warm with the doors open to the patio. Overall not bad but wouldn’t recommend going with a group unless you all want muffins and bottled beverages.”

“My kids and I are a big fan of paneer tikka masala and they always get it right here at Sawaii. Great consistent taste every time. the butter chicken with garlic naans are immaculate. We topped off our dinner with some rich tasting mango lassie that is made just right. Restaurant is well maintained and clean as always. Will definitely come back to try more food.”

“This place is just lovely! The wait staff was extremely attentive and helpful in all areas. The food is amazing and I have tried many things on the menu. If you are a brisket fan try their brisket tacos! The queso was awesome and there tacos were excellent. I’m not sure why the lady above rated this a 1 star place? I’m sure she’s just high maintenance or dramatic in life and partial to other Mexican food restaurants in the area. Don’t let one persons review detour you from checking out this new fabulous restaurant!”

“This place makes a good impression. Great menu quirky decorations, nice location. We came on a Wednesday night about an hour before closing and it was pretty empty. Our server still disappeared a lot, I ordered a soda that never came, and our appetizer came out with the meal. The food was great though, my burger was fantastic and fries are crispy. The cheese fries surprise are real good. Our server was nice but just not on top of things, had the service been a little better this review would be 5 star.”

“Great burgers and fries! I had two sliders and the curly fries. They have a slider option for just about every burger recipe, it's a great way to try out different flavors! The whole family will enjoy it here, with FREE ice cream and arcade games for the kids and kids at heart. Saw some excellent drink specials, but haven't tried the bar yet. I will return!”

They also have a wide variety of Texas owned beers on tap which i thought was great since I'm not from here. The atmosphere here is really cool and the staff was very helpful and courteous. “I have been going to this Whataburger for probably three years now because it's close to work and the Market Street has station, which is the cheapest gas by far in the area. Usually papa John give nice fresh lime green looking peppers to garnish but it looked like a joke! The pizza was good! “Just plain like the layout of the restaurant and the quality of the food. The price is very reasonable. The plates are more like you would find at a good full service restaurant but you pick up the food at the counter and get your own drinks. Pay a lot less and eat better here. Don't have to worry abut eating the last hall of your meal with no drink only to have your waiter ask if you need a refill when bringing the bill. Give them a try.”

“Retro diner with southern style home cooking. Breakfast and brunch are served all day. I had the chicken fried steak and mash potatoes. It comes with a roll which I did not eat. I added on a side of fresh spinach. Everything was very good. The mash potatoes are made with lumps of potato and they tasted great. The service was ok. We had a family with two little kids sit right behind me and the kids weren't well behaved, but that's not the diner's fault. Atmosphere is retro 50s-60s style. The dining room was a little chilly. I will go back again.”

“Took a big group of people here And the menu accommodated everyone! The fries were crunchy on the outside and all sorts of potato goodness on the inside. The gyro bread texture connected with your taste buds in ways similar to Rosa's Cafe fresh tortillas. Just the right blend of messy sauce and meat insides to enjoy the meal. I entered the baklava cheesecake challenge with my group and loved every bite. We dined like royalty for a good price for about 10 bucks each. The atmosphere was a nice blend of calm with televisions surrounding the tables. Refills for your drinks and amiable staff. I'd go back in a heartbeat.”
