“Great little place tucked away off the road. The Jerk Chicken and Shrimp combo platter was very good, and everyone was happy with their food. Definitely seems to be tailored toward to-go orders, as the only seating is outside, but we sat out on the picnic tables with no issue. Give it a try!”

“Always comfortable reserved recliners. Everyone was working hard to keep things clean, but also took time to welcome and wish us well. Movie Club is the best movie rewards system available!”

“The food is wonderful! My lamb meatballs took a while to come out (longer than everyone I was eating with) but still not too long, and they were worth it! I did a build your own bowl with pork and lamb and it was fantastic. My mom had the shrimp on zucchini "pasta" and my dad had curry with pork. All of it was really good, and the prices were pretty decent considering the quality, but it's not cheap enough that it can become one of our normal dining spots.”

“Excellent food, excellent service, very clean. I love mom and pop shops that give an authentic flavor from exotic places. I’ve never tried South African cuisine, but everything I tried was delicious. Anton is a hands on owner and puts customers first! You won’t be disappointed.”

“My husband and I went for date night away from kids. We are both 32. When we walked in, the median age range was probably more like 45 or 50. No big deal. Lots of great big TVs with games on. We go and sit on the patio. Our server was awesome. Not too pushy but very attentive. Laid back vibes from all. There was 90s rock music playing which wasn't my favorite unless you like Nirvana but again, not a huge deal, to each their own. I actually though it'd be a cool spot for a live acoustic guitar player. I ordered a flight which was nice to be able to try 4 different beers along with some buffalo wings. The food came out in a timely manner but I wasn't too impressed with the buffalo flavor. No worries though, I'll go to wing stop for better wings. I would like to try some other food another time but let's be honest, we were there for the beer after all! The beer was cold and good! Overall, I liked the place and will go back.”

“Absolutely amazing delicious loved the staff so friendly and attentive. The Ambiance was very pleasant and family oriented. My family and I will definitely be back. My son as he was eating he was amazed in every bite he just kept saying how this restaurant is now his favorite restaurant and wants to try other things on the menu. The cheesecake was my favorite part so yummy a must have at every visit. It can be great for both a romantic date night or family dinner.”

“A delicious pizza place. Had a wonderful experience being able to ask a few questions with our waiter and even had the bartender attempt to make a drink for me despite not having the right ingredients (it was still delicious) . The atmosphere was endearing and welcoming, the food was delicious and I will definitely be back whenever I am in town”

“Even though they were busy tonight, Valentine's Day, the owner took the time to personally deliver an order that I had already called in. That's a class act. This place never disappoints. I'm really new to this area, and discovered this place completely by accident. But this man runs the best Italian restaurant I this area. Trust me, I know. Italian food is my favorite , so Im always trying out a new place. Look no further people, this place is the bomb. And as far as the dine in experience, GREAT service, CLEAN restrooms, and GREAT atmosphere . TRY IT OUT, YOU'LL BE HOOKED!!!!!!!!!!! KAY CARTER”

“I can’t believe I have overlooked this gem for years! I was so impressed with just about everything. The decor is intriguing. The service was great. The food was delicious. I had a top sirloin that was perfect. I also tried the quail. Interesting! If you are looking for a good steak in the Roanoke area, don’t overlook Reno Red’s!”

“HOLY BISCUIT BATMAN! A short wait to get seated but not long. Staff was friendly and accommodating for our small group. The food was fantastic. The biscuit was huge. The gravy was sausagy. The hash browns were perfect. The eggs were spot on over medium and the bacon...... Well bacon is always awesome right? The dining room was bigger than I had imagined for my first visit. Plenty of room and we didn't feel rushed to leave. It is worth going back to!”

“I went here fir our Friday lunch. It was worth going to this place. Good food. I had Ginger plate, and my spicy was second highest. Loved the food. Also staff were very friendly and helpful. They served hot chicken coconut soup. It was the most delicious soup I ever had.”

“One of my favorite places! Pizza is crazy good. I even like the local beers (and I usually don't). Service is great, and I've never experienced much of a wait for a table. They bring you these insane little bread puff things while you're waiting for your food. These alone are worth the trip.”

“Absolutely outstanding food. The best sushi I have ever had in the area. The restaurant is extremely neat and clean and the staff is very attentive. The owner is very very nice as well. It is by far my favorite sushi restaurant in the DFW area. The potato strips are to die for and the foster roll is heaven in mouth. By far the freshest fish I have had in the area. My wife even likes the fish and she hates raw fish normally. The prices are extremely good too.”

“Highly recommend the Skinny Girl Turkey Burger. Absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere, it's not too loud or too quiet. The service is phenomenal, they seem to work as a team, so lunch during the work week is a breeze. I can't wait to try all the lovely beers on tap though! Oh, and don't forget to try the smoked mac and cheese... it's to die for!”

“I had a pulled pork sandwich, chicken popper, some sausage, and coleslaw. The pork was very flavorful and tender, the sausage was flavorful as well, the chicken popper wasn't bad but just wasn't quite as good as the pork and sausage. To be fair though, you try keeping chicken moist all day long. It's near impossible. The coleslaw was fine. Just a pretty standard coleslaw. The big shock was the option of white or jalapeno bun. I got the jalapeno option and it was probably one of the best buns I've ever had. Light, fluffy, and just a little bit spicy”

“Pretty good tacos at this place. I've been a of times and the menu is always consistent. They do serve a large helping of shrimp on the shrimp taco so that's a plus. The non alcoholic drink selection could be a little better. My son says their sopapillas are excellent. I'll just have to take his word on this one.”

“Phenomenal (huge) burgers. Great atmosphere. Quick and friendly staff. Not skimpy on the food. I got fried pickles for my side, so much that I had to take half home to enjoy later. So you definitely get your money's worth. A little frustrating that you have to pay extra for dipping sauces though, thought that was kind of petty. But I would still go back. Try their alcoholic milk shakes. The Bailey's and banana one was awesome!”

“Food was great but for the price portions are incredibly small. Never want to spend 25$ and still leave hungry. From pictures and price I was expecting a sandwhich the size of an average burger these are sliders at best and 9 dollars for a slider is just crazy. Even if it is delicious, it would've taken 2 to make me feel full and I'm a tiny 20 year old girl, 18 dollars a plate is crazy. Mac and cheese was a slightly better size and was delicious but this place is best suited for a brunch definitely not a dinner :( EDIT I know I had the gulf coast mac which like I said was a decent portion but can't remember the name of the sandwich some sort of brisket or lack there of...I don't know whose been telling you "please give me less for my money" but maybe you should consider rethinking that. I've never heard of someone complaining too much bang for their buck.”

“Located in a really cute plaza in Roanoke. It’s on the 3rd floor, but there’s an elevator too. There was an off-putting smell when I went last night. It smelled like.. plumbing/sewer lines or something. I got used to it pretty quickly, but it was still gross. The IPA I wanted was out, so I got another beer that was very tasty. Service was good. Food was pretty good. Their menu changes every so often apparently, and they’ve added sushi to the menu. It’s a fairly small menu but all good options. Only main con in my opinion is it’s very loud in there. They need to add something to cancel some of the noise. Otherwise, good place to eat and mingle.”

“Amazing customer service, from the moment you walk in to the moment you get in your car LITERALLY. My daughter left her necklace on the table and the manager ran it out to our car as soon as we were pulling off. The food is great. My husband and I both had the surf and turf. The Wharf makes their own steak sauce and it is to die for. Overall great experience Jasmine took very good care of us and was very informative about everything on the menu. Thanks guys! We will be back for sure.”

“This place is great! The made a wonderful unicorn cake for my daughters’ birthday party. So as to avoid carrying the big cake across the street, they allowed me to park in back; they carried it out for me. Sweet mother-daughter team!”

“This is a place that you go if you have a large group that is hungry. We went recently with family. Our party was 7 people and they seated us at the large table in the back. This was a perfect spot because of the large lazy Susan in the middle. You have a choice of fried chicken or chicken fried steak. I got the chicken and it was like being back home in my grandmothers house. They serve it all family style with mashed potatoes, gravy, creamed corn, and delicious biscuits. Make sure you try the honey with your biscuits. This is such a great place to eat. Very eclectic and family friendly.”

“Ayeee y’all! - Unique dining in the “Unique Dining Capital of Texas”, Roanoke. Bayou Jack’s Cajun Grill on Oak Street did not disappoint. The inside is reminiscent of an upscale bayou eatery, with a bit of sports to boot. The blackened salmon was expertly prepared, moist, flaky and with the well-balanced seasonings that make this authentically Cajun. I opted for spicy slaw and veggies of the day. Everything was delicious! Enjoy, y’all!”

“got it to go after an hour's drive it was still delicious. This is the second time I've been there and quality and portions have been both Superior and consistent. I got the gyro sandwich. My wife and I are very happy we went there. Item of note it was packaged very responsibly.”

“My team often goes here for work and it has really delicious tacos. I tried the breakfast tacos last time and they are fantastic. It's definitely authentic Mexican food, not Tex Mex. They also have two kinds of salsa that are really delicious. I'm a big fan of this place and I brought quite a few friends in. Memo's, I will be back!”
