“If you’re looking for a great ‘hike in the wall’ place to either sit and have a few cold beers with the locals OR you’re looking for a great burger or Rueben sandwich, this is the place for you. Wife and I stopped in for a late lunch and the Rueben was awesome! Of course I forgot to take a pic until half way thru. She had a cheeseburger that rated with the best of them. Definitely a place to return”

“Bookish redhead working the register was a breath of fresh air. Good coffee and clean restrooms 👍🏽. Close to a Best Western Plus and a few other hotels. Dollar General, Dairy Queen and NAPA are about a block away and downtown is just a bit farther. McDonald’s restaurant is a nice addition. Great place to get fueled up and back on your way.”

“I have taken 3 cooking classes at Cowgirl Provisions and will be back again and again. By watching and listening to Annie I have learned many new and delicious recipes - which we also got to taste during the class. Her cooking techniques are unique, easy and great for my home kitchen and family needs. Annie's creative blends of flavors really ramp up the recipe - but the recipes are not so detailed that I would not try them. Her seasonings are primarily things I already have in my kitchen. We also enjoy shopping from the Cowgirl Provision's freezer. So many heat it up and enjoy items are available and make dinner different and yummy! It's also a shopping experience. Annie stocks kitchen tools and gadgets along with "provisions" to add to her menus. Delicious brownies, yogurts, dressings, cheeses, oils, beef......all locally sourced. Annie is fantastic about promoting other businesses in the community. She is fun and enthusiastic about her craft and makes learning in the kitchen a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend anyone in the Flatonia area stop in and visit Annie AND definitely take a class.”

“Good meat. Stopped in on a recommendation. It was actually about 20 miles out of the way but I'm always up for a new smoked brisket experience. The sliced beef sandwich was good (choose between regular bread and Texas Toast). Personally, I like a little more smoke but most people would find this brisket has great taste. The hospitality was ... well ... dry. My bottled root beer was room temperature ... I probably should have handed it back but I didn't see a lot of options. Great atmosphere for a small group.”

“This little gem was awesome. Great service, very clean, even the restrooms. We were seated at once , Willie our server was very quick. We had a party of 6 and everyone ordered something different. All the food was done properly and was very delicious. The ONLY reason they didn't get 5 stars was the fact that they didn't have sweet tea. Really a great place with reasonable prices. Thanks for a great lunch.”
