“Fun new restaurant. We self ordered at the 2 kiosks to the left as soon as you walk in. It made it easy with pictures and descriptions. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got a selection of corn dogs and donuts to try. Everything was cooked perfectly. I would personally prefer the breading on the corn dog to be a little thinner however it was still cooked well and not soggy. Grab a box of donuts or filled donuts to take home. Seating is a bit limited but you can always get your order to go.”

“Fast forward to Springbreak last week, went in, enjoyed myself and heard some great music...Johnny on the shelf made me smile.🤗 A few games on the screen and being played at the tables were the highlight. Hookah is expensive, $45 /$20 refill. Moderately young crowd with a sprinkle of seasoning. Made 2 requests of the DJ, of which he never played. And every good lounge/ bar should have Johnny Walker Black on the shelf. But, I was invited, so it's not the place for me.”

“Interrupting my meal here, and that doesn't often happen. This was the most fresh sushi I've had in ages. The taste of the fish, salad, and miso soup was absolutely amazing. Wait Staff was great as well and even had the cook ask if everything was ok. No fishy smell, just absolutely great food. If I could rate this 6 stars I would. Edit: The second time was just as amazing. This will 100% be a regular place we eat.”

“I haven’t had the food yet but the service and the drinks HANDS DOWN!!!!! The best in TEXAS yes I said TEXAS. I’ve been here a couple of times and each time I’ve never had heartburn from drinking the daiquiris ,you can taste the alcohol in the drinks but it doesn’t over power the daiquiri. You can even create your own signature drink mines would be “ she hood” along with “ we goat” , if you do nothing else this year or next year and you are in the Katy area , please stop by SHE GOAT”

“Perks- real roasted corn! Has potential but they seem to cut corners so you can spend more $. The only corn id recommend is the one that comes in many layers (picture attached) the esquite was underwhelmed as it only had a topping. Nothing on the bottom but dry roasted corn. Still flavorful but for the price youre better off sharing the big cup that has layers but even with layers you have a huge chunk at the bottom with nothing. The rusa supposedly has fruit (employee confirmed) but i only go maybe 3/4 small pieces. Still the flavor was good but i was better off getting an agua mineral preparada. Our total came out to $46 after the app fees that they pass to the customer. Price is absolutely ridiculous. Its ok for a once in a while treat but i would recommend they make improvements to make this place worth the high prices. Not sure what the language barrier was but when i tried asking the employee questions he didn’t seem educated on his own menu. I speak Spanish so that was confusing… i would give them a try because at the end of the day they aint sellin no canned corn! Beware as they dont supply you with napkins or anything to cover your corn/drink. That was kinda ghetto especially after spending nearly $50 on some corn lol. Thank god we have some we keep stored in the glove department.”

“The male cashier, as well as the young lady that handed me my food, were welcoming and helpful. They have a very clean and relaxing environment. So, after my daughter's basketball game, we came here and ordered for the first time. BLT HIPPO BURGER, THE SPECIAL BURGER, GARLIC CHEESE FRIES, SWEET POTATO FRIES, CHILI CHEESE FRIES, KIDS MEAL CHEESEBURGER. My husband hated the minced garlic fries (i think yall should use garlic butter or just regular garlic seasoning instead of the minced garlic) and said the blt lacked seasoning. The special burger was good. The edges of the meat patty were just crunchy. Everything else was great, according to the kids. For $45, it was pretty good.”

“I was craving seafood one day and told my husband let’s go to mambos.. he said it was far since it was in Katy during rush hour lol so he looked for something near home. He stumbled upon this place and we ordered take out the first time. The food was delicious! We had to come back and brought a friend to dine in. We went during happy hour and those margaritas and draft beers definitely hit the spot! The food the three of us got was definitely top notch. I was upset I couldn’t eat more lol. I took a seafood cocktail to go and that did not disappoint either. Im excited to go back. The customer service was nice too. Environment was clean which is a must for a restaurant and I overall enjoyed the ambiance. The price was not too bad considering we each got like 2 margaritas and 2 beers each. Don’t miss out on the happy hour deals!!!!”

“It was an early Thursday morning in Houston, Texas, and I was craving a kolache. I knew exactly where to go: Shipley Do-nut at Highway 6 North. Shipley Do-nut is a Houston institution, and it's known for its delicious kolaches. They have a wide variety of flavors to choose from, but my favorites are the Kolache-Sausage and Cheese and the Kolache-Sausage, Cheese, and Jalapeños. I arrived at Shipley Do-nut around 7:30am, and the place was already buzzing. There was a line of people waiting to order, but it moved quickly. I placed my order for a Kolache-Sausage and Cheese and a Kolache-Sausage, Cheese, and Jalapeños. The kolaches were freshly made and piping hot out of the oven. They were soft and fluffy on the inside, and the fillings were generous and flavorful. The sausage was juicy and flavorful, and the cheese was melted and gooey. The jalapeños in the Kolache-Sausage, Cheese, and Jalapeños added a nice kick of heat. I took a bite of each kolache and was immediately transported to heaven. The flavors were so delicious and comforting. The kolaches were the perfect way to start my day, and they gave me the energy I needed to power through the morning. I highly recommend Shipley Do-nut for anyone looking for a delicious and timely breakfast. The kolaches are delicious and affordable, and the service is always friendly and efficient. Keep it up Shipley Do-Nuts!”

“Super nice and friendly people. My wife and I stopped in for a whacked chicken and old Italian. I loved that the bread wasn’t too thick and the tomatoes are thin sliced. My wife loved her chicken.”

“As the kids say! This place hits !!! I love love love seafood ! Unfortunately my husband doesn’t so when I go it’s a real treat. Lately I’ve just been making my own ceviche and cocktail at home. My friend stayed recommending this place and I finally joined her!!! I’m glad that I did! I got their seafood tower, a Mexican coke, and the shrimp tacos. The seafood tower was delicious!!! It had tons of seafood especially octopus!!! Everything tasted very fresh and clean !!! (Nothing smelled fishy). They offer large variety of different dishes and a small selection of drinks (no alcohol. If you are into Micheladas they offer the mix and you BYOB (bring yo own beer). This is a food truck so need to be dressed fancy. They have plenty of seating (outdoor). It’s a super casual place to go on the weekends with your friends. Go treat yourself!!”

“As soon as I walked in, 3 people standing at the bar counter, welcomed me in. Immediately gave me a menu but nothing beyond that. Looked over the menu, and they had a lot of options. I ordered the super Adrian which was 5 tacos. Wish I’d taken a picture of the tacos but everything looked good. Tacos came with onions, cilantro and red and green salsa. Red salsa was not my favorite in my opinion, along with the tacos were no ad flavorful as I would have liked. They were okay. I would come again to try other menu items, but overall, a nice place with options. The inside was nice and small. Intimate ambiance.”

“Love this place! The food is a nice sized portion and, so far, the honey garlic wings are my favorite but the corn was a close second. They have a large variety of drink options with a good selection of drink additions as well. The inside is really cute and service was fast.”

“Today, I decided to try my hand at a food truck which I normally don't go for whenever I am hungry after work. usually I would just get fast food or something. But since this place was the closest to me I decided that I had to try it especially since it has a full 5 star average review score though only with 10 reviews (which honestly there needs to be more, they deserve it). I got the double cheeseburger with seasoned to perfection fries, and mac and cheese. One thing I have to mention before getting to the food part is that when they told me the total, I was completely fine with it because I knew it may be a bit more expensive than fast food so I paid without a care in the world. They could have just taken my money and not said a word and I would be none the wiser but they actually gave back 3 dollars claiming that they accidentally overcharged me! That is the most honest thing I have seen from a business in a long time so if you come here know that the prices are fair and their service is phenomenal! The burger was seasoned very well much better than any fast food can offer the mac and cheese was definitely a cool spin on it making it spicy and the fries OHHHHH the fries they were seasoned to perfection but not only that, every fry that I ate had seasoning on it which is rare to see! Usually lazy food places that offer fries has the standard bland fries and if there was seasoning it would only be on top of the fries so when you got to the bottom of it, they would be very bland. But I was pleasantly surprised to see that they actually seasoned every single fry evenly so that the whole experience was excellent. If you haven't tried this place I highly recommend you give them a shot to see what I am talking about! 10/10”
