“This place is super fun for everyone! Perfect for the little ones to stare at and be amazed as well as a fun date to pick up some ice cream and walk around downtown or by the river. I took my younger brother here for his first time a week or so ago and he loved it! The lady who greeted us was very helpful to help him with his decision making process and recommended the best banana pie ice cream I've ever tasted in my life ???????? My mouth waters just thinking about it! I loved my first experience there and even watching someone else enjoy their first time and the large smile it brings to their face. They have truly perfected making a creamy smooth ice cream with the perfect ratio of mix-ins.”

“I loved this place! Opened recently, but very organized. I sat inside at the bar for lunch, but I loved the open windows to the outside bars; just like in Switzerland! There are also outside tables. Super friendly staff and fast service. My wine was palatable. They are near the railroad tracks, so if you hear a train, they have special $1 or $2 "train shots"! I had a very nice and crisp salad, and added a burger patty on top for $2. The burger was AMAZING! One of the servers also tipped me off about a fun little boutique next door.”

“Let me start off by saying that the food is delicious and worth the wait. Let me also add that the wait is the only reason I'm giving four stars. I used to live very close to this location and after I discovered this place we began to order very often. At first I began ordering just as a walk in, but waiting usually took over thirty minutes form order to getting my food. Then we began ordering over the phone, but sometimes they are so busy that they take the phone off the hook, do not answer, or there is just a busy signal. We have also dined in and the service was great. The dine in area is not very large and at times can be hard to get a table. Overall my experiences there have been very pleasant and I do not have one complaint about the food. Again, the wait can be the killer, so I would not recommend trying to get food here if you are in a big hurry! Wait your turn, get the food, and enjoy it! I love the family owned and local nature of this restaurant.”

“I've gone there for the catfish for several years! The owner, his wife and mother all work there and I even registered him to vote! Everyone who works there is friendly, great people. Always get the mashed potatoes with cream gravy and either one or two pieces of fish..depends upon how much money I have on me (no credit cards). Good sized portions, freshly prepared...often times while I wait. This is the only place where I get fish.”

Chicken fried steak, fried okra, mashed potatoes and gravy, beef steak with onions and brown gravy with garlic mashed potatoes. Hot yeast rolls. We had so much food we couldn’t eat it all. 3 adults and it only cost $34.00. Great stag, great atmosphere. The menu is very extensive; something for every appetite. The serving sizes are plenty big and the food is very tasty. You have to try the bear claws.”
