“This is the best place in town for sushi. It's not the nicest looking both outside and inside and needs major updating. The fried rice is something to be desired. However, the sushi 🍣 is hands down something my wife and I go back for almost on a monthly, if not weekly basis. Service is good and friendly and we've never had an issue waiting for a table. The poke bowl is my absolute favorite and highly recommend!!!”

“We found this restaurant on our last visit to Amarillo and had to return this visit. The experience remained high. I had the lasagne soup, which was amazing and very flavorful. “I've had Sunday's Kitchen three times, and each was to-go or delivery. I've only ordered the Pit Master Mac & Cheese. It's delicious! There is enough food to feed 4-5 people or meal prep for a couple of days. 😂🤷🏿♀️ It has smoked brisket, roasted pork, grilled hotlinks, sausage, and bacon. It's also served with a couple of onion rings and a slice of garlic bread. Delicious! I put a hefty portion in a bowl (pictured) and had all of that leftover. (See the picture without foil.)”

“We absolutely loved our dinner at OHMS. We were visiting Amarillo for a couple of days and staying at the Barfield downtown. I researched dinner spots and this place seemed to be the best choice. It was exactly the right choice. I called about two weeks ahead and was able to get reservations at the time we wanted. We started with cocktails. They were both good but the bourbon old fashioned was better than the gin cocktail. And the old fashioned here was better than a similar drink at the Paramount Recreation Club next door, the Speakeasy in the basement of the Barfield that you gain entry by "buying" Paramount cigarettes from an antique machine (suddenly the door behind you opens and voila you're in). Back to the main story... For appetizer we shared a special of the night, the crab cakes. They were perfectly seared and they were bursting with crabmeat. Spiced just right. And the accompanying sauce, we wanted to lick the plate clean. They were really good. For the mains, one of us had Elk and the other had Chicken. The Elk, recommended medium rare, was oh so tender and moist. The local mushrooms that accompanied were worthy of their own dish. The risotto at the bottom was also good. Unfortunately the photo doesn't show a dish as delicious as it was. We were surprised a little that the Elk wasn't more gamey tasting. It's not a bad thing, just was a surprise. The chicken was also outstanding. Crunchy and moist. The asparagus was firm but tender, and the mashed potatoes were excellent. I must say it could have used a little more gravy as all that gravy was gone a bit before the chicken was. But then i am a sauce guy. No room for dessert. Would love to visit for dinner again!”

“Fantastic flavors at The Brunch Truck! We were seriously impressed with this very unassuming food trailer tucked behind the bye station in downtown Amarillo. Chatting with the owner, Paul, you can tell he is super passionate about his food and it shows! I had the Carnivore burrito which had all the breakfast meats along with Yukon gold potatoes that were all cooked to perfection. As a final touch, he cracks an egg over the food so that it coats everything in a smooth texture and elevates the overall flavor! Wish server with red and green salsa which were both excellent My wife had the Breakfast Street Tacos which she thoroughly enjoyed as well. Paul's EXCELLENT customer service and the quality of the food shows his love for what he does. We will most definitely be back!”

“Didn't get to dine in because the cook wasn't in and wouldn't be in for a couple of hours. We're from out of state so we couldn't go back to try it out. “Great place for a tasty burger! Line gets a little long around lunch time but things move quickly. Once you order the food comes out quickly. They have the best buns! Soft and buttery, but sturdy enough to not come alert from the juice. The green chili anything is great (burger, cheese fries, etc). Their hand cut fries are really tasty. Haven’t had the chicken fried steak myself but someone in my group had it and really enjoyed it. Highly recommended!”

It is my goto when I want fajitas and with a GF dietary restriction, I have have never had a problem when choosing corn tortillas. “Saw this place as I was driving downtown towards fiesta foods! And man am I glad I stopped in! I believe they are under new management and it is done wonderfully! They flavors of the ceviche and the freshness of all of the drinks! But the shinning star of them all is the fruitas con crema it was delicious! “We went in for the buffet. We called ahead and was informed that all meat here was halal, so a good option for people looking for halal food. There was no biriyani in the buffet and that was something we missed. The mixed vegetables, the chicken tikka masala, the butter chicken, the naan, and the chicken fries were really good. “Awesome award winning BBQ!!! Possibly the best I’ve had and I’ve been on a quest to find the best BBQ! So extremely tender and flavorful! I didn’t even need BBQ sauce. They have so many awards on their wall and I can see why. I had the plain moist brisket just so I could try it. My husband had the chopped sandwich plate with cream corn and tea. He said it was delicious and a great value. They are definitely dog friendly on their spacious patio with cool water. And the patio is well thought out and smart outdoor fans and misters to make it cooler. They also have a grass area for dogs to do their business. Come for the amazing BBQ !”
