“Halley's an excellent example of what cool, calm and collected should be. I went in and got a couple of breakfast sandwiches, which were very good, but while I waited, I dropped my coffee on the counter. What a disaster! Well, I'm the sort of person that was taught to clean up my own mess and I did. When I looked over, Halley just had a smile on her face with understanding. That made me feel so much better. It's so wonderful to go to a place and be treated with decency, even when you screw up. They say a company's staff will either make or break you. I can tell you, with individuals like Halley, you'll be around for a long time. I look forward to visiting this place again.”

“I regret that I have but 5 stars to give for this cafe! I am a very recent transplant to the neighborhood and I still don't have Wifi service at home so I became one of those annoying people that camps out in a restaurant with their laptop. I was reading emails and updating my address in the employee portal and... eating an amazing omelet and drinking copious hot, fresh, delicious coffee. The food/coffee was excellent and the service couldn't have been better. Patricia made sure that my order was correct and my coffee cup never got cold and she was very gracious about me using a table in her section for so long. She always had a smile on her face and made me feel welcome. Due to an issue that was completely my fault (use your imagination), I had the opportunity to meet the manager, Josh. Josh was the manager of the year, in my book, and I am very appreciate of him and his ability to turn an awkward situation into an opportunity to make me an even more loyal customer. Any managers that are failing should reach out to Josh for pointers. Dear Kerbey Lane cooks, wait-staff, and managers - I shall return! (and with my wallet!) ;-)”

“For being a chain restaurant, la Madeleine pastry cases had a nice selection. I was pleasantly surprised of all of the pastry choices. I purchased a plain Croissant, a large Palmiers and a mini lemon tart. I tried the lemon tart right away and it was just right, not too sweet and just the right amount of tartness.”

“My review is of the pepperoni rolls and the house salad the only two things I’ve eaten here. The best rolls, large with lots of cheese and a thin crust so not a lot of bread which I like. The house salad with honey mustard dressing is large and delicious. Add bacon. They use feta and candied pecans which makes it really good”

“This is my go to spot for coffee and breakfast in south Austin. The staff is as sweet as the bakery goods in the case! The pancakes are a must. For an indulgent breakfast I recommend a Benedict or their weekly specials. On the go, I grab a breakfast taco and a cowboy cookie. This is a staple in south Austin with friendly staff, enjoyable ambiance, and consistently delicious food.”

“I am a longtime fan of Einsteins and in fact I now give out gift cards to my friends so they also can experience their delicious bagels. sesame is my favorite, but I must admit the cool interior and their rate mustard yellow logo also put me in a great mood. When I leave, I feel like I have had a wonderful treat and it brightens up my day....... Importantly, the staff seems to truly appreciate their customers. “It's always a great experience going to Muscle Maker Smoothie after a workout. I've tried most of the smoothies on the menu, and I haven't had one I didn't like. Their smoothies taste great without being chalky or artificial tasting, which is hard to find for protein shakes. The guys there are friendly and make helpful recommendations when I'm feeling indecisive. Membership to LA Fitness is not required to access the smoothie bar, so no reason not to try it!”

“Like the coffee, don't like the bagel. I haven't had Caribou Coffee since Michigan so there's a bit of nostalgia here. I was a bit surprised to see a non-local regional coffee chain at the Austin airport. I always thought this airport preferred local shops and avoided non-local chains like McDonald's and Starbucks. The Einstein Bros bagel was pretty disappointing. I'll get the coffee here next time and stick to Peached Tortilla for food.”

“First time visitor; was BLOWN AWAY. The store has lots of indoor seating, natural lighting, decent amount of beers on tap, tasty wine, and a good food selection. There is also a nice patio with shade, and games! My wife and I only had coffee, and a Vanilla frapp so I can not speak to the food. However, if the beverages are any indication, then you can't go wrong with anything you order. As someone who has worked for coffee shops in Austin, and consider myself to be a bit of a coffee enthusiast, I highly recommend anyone in the area to go and check this place out. “This is the best McDonald’s I’ve visited maybe ever. The food has always been fresh and the staff always EXTREMELY friendly. It could be because I tend to go late at night when it isn’t too busy, but this is my go-to spot for consistent late comfort food. Last time I asked if I could get a coke refill after waiting a few minutes in line, the manager gave me whole new sodas. Blessed.”
