“I was just thinking about how we could use a sandwich shop over here and king and behold they just opened today! I am super picky about my sandwiches, and was a little scared to try their menu because it isn’t traditional. But I was SO happy I did because every bite of this sandwich was outstanding. I ordered the buffalo chicken (I don’t even like buffalo chicken but I liked that it had slaw on it). Wow! This was the perfect mix of savory with a little kick, but with their own spin on it. Even the sauces on the side paired perfectly. The bread is fresh and has the perfect texture. The sandwiches are served hot with pulled meat and taste great with a side of chips. Everything blends together for one awesome taste. The Sandwich is prepared right in front of you at the counter and the space is clean and modern. The staff seemed excited to be there and was very nice! The service was fast, too. I’ll definitely be going back to try more.”

“I simply can not say enough amazing things about The Roosevelt Room! We hosted a private event there and everything was fantastic, from the venue, to the craft cocktails, food and the staff. Their event staff helped walk me through planning our event, providing feedback on food options they felt were a good choice and always happy to answer questions. The night of all their staff: events team, bartenders and servers went above and beyond. If you are thinking to host an event here, I would highly suggest it.”

“We usually dine at the Domain Gloria's Latin Cuisine butI was meeting a friend who was in town for a business trip and staying at the Aloft, so we tried this Gloria's as it was near by. They have the same menu and the same prices as the Domain location which I have found to be an exception not the rule for down town restaurants. The food and service were just as good as the Domain location which makes it some of the best in Austin. Unfortunately, I was so caught up in conversation with my friend I completely forgot to take pictures of the meal. You can reference my review of the Domain location for pictures. I had the Fajita burrito plate and it was just the right portion to satisfy my hunger without having left overs to deal with. The Fajita beef was quite tender and had delicious flavor as well as a decent amount in the burrito. I really like Gloria's Spanish rice which is some of the best you will ever have. My wife had the combination plate and loved all of the offerings. My friend had the chicken enchilada plate and said it was excellent. Truly great Latin cuisine!”

“I was not expecting such an upscale dining experience. Reminiscent of The Palm. Fantastic wine room. Great waitstaff. They had a very jazz trio playing. Fridays at lunch they do a burger as a nod to Huts. Food was all delicious and the deserts lovely. It’s relatively pricy with most things between $20 and $40. It’s worth noting that the flour they use for pasta is an ancient grain with much less gluten content making it suitable even for people with minor gluten sensitivity like my mom.”

“My Daughter wanted her birthday brunch to be here. They were MORE THAN ACCOMMODATING and made my daughter and her friends feel awesome. The entire experience from the initial phone call to make sure they could do this to walking out the door when the girls were done with smiles on their faces was special. I am very thankful to this restaurant staff.”

“This was my first time visiting Austin, TX and Irene’s was first on our list. I really liked the vibes here. It’s a great spot for an afternoon lunch. We sat outside and enjoyed the sun. The service was good and we were able to find a spot to sit once we arrived. I ordered the chicken sliders with potato salad. I didn’t enjoy my food however I still think it’s worth visiting.”

“I went in to try the pizza (which was amazing!) and got so much more! I was warmly welcomed by JESSICA! She took the BEST care of me and treated me like part of the family. So far the best customer service I’ve had!! I highly recommend stopping by, the vibe is amazing, JESSICA is amazing and the pizza + Caesar salad = OMGGG!! Thank you!!”

“Real cool staff. Like really cool bartender, cook, and manager. The staff cares about their jobs and you can tell. The place itself smaller than expected, but for the space they have, they make it work. They have a pretty limited supply of newer consoles, and people are normally on them and the older consoles were open more when I went there. Overall a real cool place full of people that deserve the local support. They have Doritos cheese sticks, and they were very highly rated.”

“The service is excellent. Wait staff was really friendly and attentive. Drinks were served beautifully, but overpriced and underwhelming on taste. Food was pretty good. One step up from PF Chang's in my opinion. If you've never had authentic Chinese food and want to feel fancy this place will tickle you.”

“Top-notch Southern cuisine in an upscale environment. They're especially good at accommodating groups. We had 11, and the service was prompt and accurate. Saw other large groups around the restaurant. Friendly staff and high energy vibes with the open kitchen floorplan. Highly recommend the Heritage Pork Chop -- not sure I've ever ordered pork chops at a restaurant before as I'm usually not a fan. They were tender and tasty and I'd order them again without trying anything else. The biscuits live up to the hype! Order them for the whole table. A must visit in downtown Austin!”

“We came to Bull and Bowl on a bachelorette weekend and our group LOVED it. Our server was David and he was absolutely amazing! He was so personable and fun and was quick to accommodate for our group. He helped us find some other fun places in Austin to see while we were there! Customer service was great! The food was yummy also. I had the standard burger with the black truffle fries and it was delicious! I would recommend this place to a friend for sure! (Ask for David!!)”

“I came here last night for dinner with friends, hoping the experience would match those of the very happy customers and not those that said to expect to pay a lot and leave hungry. Unfortunately, it was the latter experience for much of the group. Not everyone needs to be stuffed at the end of the meal to make it worth it, but no one should be downright hungry, especially after hundreds of dollars. Our server's attention and care also really suffered as the night wore on and the place got busier, and we felt like hostages waiting for the last of the meal and our check. I'd like to come to this place for happy hour, as that might be the time to come to make it worthwhile. The food was delicious, really, but for the price they could definitely stand to make it a tad more substantial.”

“3.5 stars if i can. We went for Sunday dinner. In short, the dry aged New York strip was cooked just right and the oysters are fresh, but the appetizer and salad is missing the mark. For appetizer, we had the escargot dish(shown in picture) which has a creative spin with the pastry on top, but the seasoning is off with way too much lemon and parsley that doesn’t really go with the dish. Would not recommend it. Oyster was good and fresh, as what you would’ve expect from a restaurant like this. For salad, I would not recommend anyone to order the sliced tomato salad. It is literally several very thick slices of tomato, with sprinkles of feta cheese, olive oil, and a little bit of onion and cucumber. It is exactly what the menu said so there is that. However , I don’t think it is worth the price. Service was good but little bit slow given it wasn’t really crowded.”

“First time visiting this food truck, def not the last. I ordered food around 10:30pm, everything was fresh and flavorful. The portions are amazing, everything was just great. But the pita bread.....I would come back for that and order it by the truckload. You can tell they put love and care into all their dishes.”

“Everything was excellent! Food!! Staff! I asked specific questions that were answered in detail. Very nice staff! Amazing food! Simple menu made the whole meal about the steak! Loved it! Will absolutely be back and will bring people! I may sing it from the rooftops! There's a reason they've been around for over 85 years!!!”

“Not a best pizza for a money , I had delivery of 18” pie with extra toppings. Quality is good , I wish they add more stuff for such big size. Just not enough amount of toppings for 18” pizza , I was ordering Hawaiian style pizza ( chicken , pineapple, extra mozzarella cheese, fresh mozzarella, extra olive). I was laughing when i saw the amount and size of chicken and pineapples. Pizza cost me around $30 + taxes and delivery. Not worth it. Just check it out the thickness of pineapple pieces :) Lol”

“We stayed at the Canopy Hotel and ate at Verbena for lunch and a dinner during our stay. Every dish we had was exceptional. I loved the beet salad for lunch, and the lacquered chicken was fantastic. The servers and bartenders are friendly and attentive, and the floor manager rocks. Plus their patio away from the noise of the street is a nice little getaway.”
