“By far the best donut shop in a 30 mile radius. Their kolaches are baked with a delicious Hawaiian roll like bread. “Ziggy's Kielbasa House is fantastic. Found in a small strip mall off 183 in Leander it can be tricky to spot while driving, but is well worth finding. They smoke all the meat in house and make all the sides as well. The sandwiches are the true stand out here. They have made some wonderful combinations of ingredients to produce a truly unique and flavorful product. We had the Squealer and the Boxer. Both were delightful. The house coleslaw is something special, they make it with their sauerkraut as the base. We also really enjoyed the chunky homemade applesauce and refreshingly creamy Polish Veggie Salad. We'll definitely be back soon!”

“If you want to get out of "town" for some destination dining, Republic is a short drive! They have an interesting menu, the foods are freshly prepared, and the open sky views are just what I needed. They were kind enough to whip up one of their signature salads and soup between lunch and dinner. I do believe it's my favorite tortilla soup now. They have a beautiful patio with nice breezes and indoor dining as well. Service was friendly and relaxed.”

“So, I'm a big fan of Torchys tacos, since the beginning. Is it a lot, for a taco? Sure. But is it a special taco? Yes indeed! Each taco is a little poem of flavors in your mouth, a little gastronomic adventure. But when they got their airstream salad, I was in love! There was so much going on, and it was all amazing to me! One of my favorite things was that the lettuce mix they used had amazing things like mint and arugula, and you could add salmon, shrimp, etc. Well, today we went to this Torchys in round Rock, and I'm sure that Covid had caused some problems for all restaurants, but we had to order at the bar, with no menu to peruse, and apparently our order just vanished, because we got our drinks, sat down, and ten minutes later a server comes to our table with a couple tacos, which weren't ours. I explained that we had ordered salads, and she took the tacos hopefully to their rightful owner. We waited, and chatted, and took care of some business. Mind you, there were very few patrons at the restaurant, as we had arrived a little after eleven a.m. Finally, we realized that we should have probably heard from someone, so I took the receipt to the register to let them know, and they didn't even seem surprised. It only took about ten minutes to get our food made, and when it came, it seemed smaller, and no longer had mint. Usually, I can only eat half, and have the rest for dinner, but sadly, I was able to eat the whole thing.”

He told us if you want a quality farm to table food experience without breaking the bank wide open, search no further. And boy, was he right! I had the chicken/bacon/grits, my wife had the Turkey club and my sister had the BLT. I was born in Georgia so grits are something that I've eaten my entire life and I love them with a passion. When I tell you that these guys made some of the best grits I've had outside of Charleston please believe me????????! So good! Everything was amazing, right down to their handcrafted sodas. 15/10 would definitely recommend and we will be back!”

“This place has fantastic food for pretty good prices. The restaurant was clean, the lady we ordered from was very friendly and up beat. I got the Big Bison burger and my wife got the BLT w/egg. Both our dishes were fantastic. The burger was juicy and seasoned just right. The BLT had a lot of texture and a sweet, salty and spicy taste to it due to the jelly. The menu has a lot of great items, the bar is full service, the bathrooms are clean and the atmosphere is casual. We will be back.”

“I stopped by after work for a snack to try this place out. After we tried the grilled pork spring roll we ended going back to get dinner. The steak pho was really good, even after taking it home to eat it. The vermicelli bowls were spot on and the fried egg rolls and spring rolls were both as good as I've had at any brick and mortar restaurant. The peanut sauce with the spring rolls is even really good. The surprise star of the show though? Their spaghetti and meatballs. Of my goodness, they were better than some so called Italian places. Don't be shy, give this place a try!”

“Our family was in town from very far away, and to celebrate a very important (adult) birthday, we decided to try La Scala. It was such an unexpected experience of food, atmosphere, and assistance it knocked us off our feet. They serve various parts of "the meal", timed just right until everything has been served (and devoured). It is all so very intentional and the wine selection was incredible!
