“I’ve moved to Taylor a few months ago and I’ve yet to explore every food spot and I’m glad this place exists. The tortillas are so good and carnes are well cooked. They seem to get busy during lunch time but other than that great service.”

“Lots of tasty options! Portions are so filling and shareable! Owners are great people! And was able to top it off with some great beer!”

“Wow! Great food. I had the loaded baked potato with brisket, cheese, sour cream, and jalapenos. It had to weigh in at 3 or 4 pounds! Seriously. Also had some ribs. Very meaty, nice and peppery. Sauce is a little sweet for my taste, but good. My wife had the brisket sandwich and said it was great, with a lot of brisket. Even better, it is a family run business.”

“We wanted to stop by this new place and check it out. Very neat place inside, and the waitress was friendly. The wings were 👍 good. However, the service wasn't great. If you are just opening a new place, you really need to pay attention to the customers (so you can attract more). There were about 14 customers today. So, the business was not busy at all. We didn't get any extra plates for the wings, napkins, ketchup (well, they forgot to bring our fries) or the ticket. We had to go ask for these things. We hope next time the service will be better.”

“Great choice tonight. First the place is extremely clean inside, the service was excellent and the food fresh and yummy. The pupusas are huge and we couldn’t even finish everything we ordered. Loved the cream warm beans and cheese they brought out to dip chips in. Will definitely be coming back.”

“The food is Tex-Mex, not really authentic. To start of the chips and salsa come with red chips salsa and what's seems like ranch-jalapeño dip (nobody in our table was a fan of it). I had the "caldo de mariscos" (seafood soup) it was decent, everyone else was not very impressed with the food. They didn't seem to have tortas or tacos from other meats like cabeza, barbacoa, tripe, tongue or similar meats. The waiters were young and inexperienced, seems like we had to keep asking for things instead of being asked if we needed anything, and it also seems like they need to hire more waiters.”

“I wanna say for being the only Starbucks in Taylor they’re pretty on point. Not sure if I’m happy to say this or if I should be worried but I’ve been here 3-4 times this week alone… tells you something about the place or maybe it’s me? I blame my wife for my new addition and having awesome staff here is a big plus.”

“They are fast and efficient, but also take the time to give good service. When I walk in with my handful of kids the guy there knows how kids are and bags each of their doughnuts separately! It's the little things that count!!”

“The food is delicious! I had the salmon and it was very good. The little muffins served with a dinner plate are super too. They also do specialty coffees. I had a turtle latte and it was very good! The place is also very clean which is always a big plus. They have a drive through window too if you want to place an order ahead of time. It was very convenient to drive through to get a latte in the morning. The staff is super nice too!”

“THE BEST sound stage and engineer... all in a quaint historic Texas town... Owned by an awesome lady... with great shops and other small businesses all within walking distance. Have a friendly brew and enjoy!”

“My family and I chose this restaurant due to the outside appeal and reviews from friends. This place did not disappoint everything we tried was quick, hot and above expectations. They epitomize service with a smile. The general manager greeted us and enhanced our experience. We will definitely be revisiting when in Taylor.”

“Food was good. Wait time was extremely long considering at that time you have to sit outside. Indoor seating is not open yet.”

“Quick and courteous. So far all the Batista's I've encountered know their stuff. Love the addition of all the plants. ? Will check back once the new place has a chance to settle in.”

“I rather wish I could give a 4.5 but its not available. This store's employees have been unfailingly polite and the service is quick and efficient. I've only had the pizza so I cannot comment on other foods available. Only once in the many times we have purchased there was the crust just a bit too tough. I will continue to patronize this store. The location is convenient too!”

“I stopped by after work for a snack to try this place out. After we tried the grilled pork spring roll we ended going back to get dinner. The steak pho was really good, even after taking it home to eat it. The vermicelli bowls were spot on and the fried egg rolls and spring rolls were both as good as I've had at any brick and mortar restaurant. The peanut sauce with the spring rolls is even really good. The surprise star of the show though? Their spaghetti and meatballs. Of my goodness, they were better than some so called Italian places. Don't be shy, give this place a try!”

“Our family was in town from very far away, and to celebrate a very important (adult) birthday, we decided to try La Scala. It was such an unexpected experience of food, atmosphere, and assistance it knocked us off our feet. They serve various parts of "the meal", timed just right until everything has been served (and devoured). It is all so very intentional and the wine selection was incredible! For this event, we would not have made another choice! Everything about our experience was five-star.”

“Well there it is... The hands down BEST BURGERS in Taylor, if not Williamson County. I had the Macho Burger (fried egg bacon and cheese) it is was Soooo good. If you like yourself, you will stop by this place for some great food.”

“The pulled-pork sandwich had a great flavor with the right amount of char/fat/meat combination. The sausage was a bit on the dry side. The only thing disappointing about the beans was the quantity of the side dish. Nice texture and flavor on the brisket, especially the pieces that weren't totally lean. Easy on the wallet prices were a plus. If this review was helpful, please "like" it.”

“Got the farm breakfast and house drip coffee. Both were excellent! This is my new favorite restaurant in town. The food and atmosphere is amazing! The restaurant is where the old band hall used to be, and I'm glad to see they kept homage to that with really cool instrument-fixtures. Watching the baker was also really cool - the baked goods are excellent!”

“Great food and friendly service. Cool little country place. I travel for business, and like to stop here.... especially because of poor cell service, time to relax with a beer!”
