“If you want birria, birria or birria, this is the place for you. We arrived and placed our order quickly. We ordered the birria platter, 2 tacos, a quesadilla, queso and chips and side of rice. We waited 25 minutes for our order. As we waited we saw 6 other people that ordered after us receive their order before us. The queso was thick and inedible. The platter of food was cold. Tacos were good but flavor was limited. I was bummed we didn’t have a better experience.”

“The par 3 is very fun. Lots of short holes that are great for beginners or people who want practice with their shorter clubs. The greens are very fast which is good practice for harder holes in the future. It is cheaper than most courses I have been to and is often not crowded. When we went it was practically empty.”

“I stopped in at Patty Shack after driving past multiple times, thinking it was in an off the beaten path location and wondering how it was. I had the BLT with cheese and a fried egg, side of fries. I was SHOCKED and AMAZED at how yummy the BLT with cheese and fried egg was. The fries are the perfect combination of crispy on the outside and still soft and yummy. I am only sad I didn't stop here earlier to give Patty Shack a try. I was too stuffed to try any of the desserts. They looked good, and the description on the dessert menu was intriguing. I will try to save room for dessert next time I go. The staff was hilarious and had an enthusiastic mood. There is a variety of seating options for a variety of group sizes, all the way down to seating for 1.”

“i got an Italian soda here once and they had me hand the bottle to them and then bought it and didn't do the specific flavorings i wanted, just the bottle itself. i don't know if that employee was new, but i was kind of mad because the drink was really bitter without the flavorings. but, i come here every time and it's still so good! i recommend!”

“Wow. I got the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken for $13. Huge portions and they even threw in some garlic knots on the house. I’m assuming because I was a first timer. I appreciate that! Great customer service and clean dining space. Come in for some tasty pasta, pizza, sandwiches, calzones etc. They have a large menu. I’m going to try something different each time. It’s not far from where I live, so I’ll be eating here often. Give it a month and business will be booming. Mark my review lol. I’ve been here twice since. Wasn’t a huge fan of there pizza as the dough was really soggy. Tried the cheesesteak last night. The flavor was there and they didn’t skimp on the meat. However, I probably received a total of 10 fries with my order. I asked for an order of fries and she tells me that it comes with fries. I wouldn’t mind paying $2 more for a decent amount of fries. French fries are cheap so I am confused as to why they would skimp on them. Hopefully it was just a one off. Don’t play with my fries, not cool.”

“I have always wanted to do Korean BBQ with the grill in the table. I will come back, this was such a great experience. The meat was delicious, the service was outstanding, and they have a good drink menu! 10/10 can’t wait to go back. Just don’t order too much and be wasteful though, they will charge you additional $13.99 per pound for being wasteful, they don’t tell you this though!!! It’s in the fine print on the table.”

“In total we have tried this place twice. I am no Hawaiian food expert so I cannot speak of how authentic this place is. Overall, we like the food and their flavors so far. Even my dad likes it. We like the fire chicken, chicken katsu and the Hawaiian bbq chicken. Their sauce is leaning towards the ‘runnier’ side. The brown rice is a bit too dry in my opinion, but I love their macaroni salad. Ask me if the veggie salad is worth it and I will say no. I notice the spam musubi is a bit pricey, but what is not these days. Their lunch portion is good for us. The restaurant style is fast casual, everything is self service and you receive food in styrofoam containers, regardless if you order to stay or to go. This is what I don’t like given the price we pay, so I would rather only order takeout here. Their decorations are good, and what we like the most is the employees’ attitude and customer service. Both times, the employees who took our order were very friendly and welcoming! We will go here again if we ever crave Hawaiian food for sure.”

“Pearl Express was a pleasant experience. The staff, though small, was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is located in a small business strip plaza which has just a few other businesses and is on the corner of 6200 South at Bangerter Highway. The parking lot, which is not large, is best entered if you are East of Bangerter headed West. The restaurant is on the North side of 6200 South. The restaurant is narrow with seating down the sides and a long table down the center. It was not busy when we first arrived around 1730; but, more people showed up as time went on. There seemed to be as much or more business produced by carry-out as there was dining in. As I said previously the staffing was minimal but they did very well at their juggling act between taking phone orders, welcoming people as they came in to be seated, taking orders in the restaurant, ringing up pick up orders and dine in orders, bringing out food to the tables, topping off water glasses and all the other things associated with operating a restaurant. It seemed as though it may be a Family Business. They were all very nice and very busy. The food was hot, fresh off the stove, and very tasty. We tried the Walnut Shrimp, Pineapple Chicken, Peking Pork Chops, Egg Rolls and Cream Cheese Wontons. Everything was prepared very nicely. The pork and Chicken were excellent in their prep. Unlike many places that kill the flavor of the meat with over breading, Pearl Express fixed the dishes fresh without breading the meat. The Shrimp were battered just right for a crisp, flakey coating which went excellently with the sauce. Although the pineapple chicken was very good I think when I go again it would be the dish I would change out to try another dish. There are many to choose from. The Egg Roll was very good although in size it reminded me more of a Spring Roll. The Egg Rolls are served with a nice mild sauce that was almost like a sweet/hot mustard. The Cream Cheese Wontons were wonderful. Crisp, Fresh and Flakey served with a side bowl for dipping of Sweet and Sour Sauce. I would definitely recommend Pearl Express for small groups or small families. It is about average in cost for dishes served A la carte compared to other Chinese food restaurants. There are less expensive selections if you prefer a predetermined dinner selection with a choice of entrees. With the friendliness of the staff, tastiness of the food and the fast prep and serving of the food I don't think you could go wrong in giving them a try.”

“This place was terrible, much like all the other restaurants in the 1 mile radius. I dont know why the people in Evanston don't prepare their restaurants for the rush of travelers that go through their city every Sunday afternoon in the summer? So many people were headed home and wanted lunch here and all restaurants were overwhelmed. Stood in line at this Wendy's for 10 min and left. A few people followed me. The staff couldn't handle the 20 people waiting in their lobby for food, or the long line of cars in the drive thru lane.”

“I wish i could post pics. I ordered balsamic glaze drizzle.. it's covering the entire pizza, that's a bit much. The last the orders have been hit or miss. Probably won't go back which is a shame because when it's a hit it's freaking amazing! Edit: the customer service i received when i called into the shop was amazing, they not only corrected the order and gave me that correction free of charge they also trained the staff of balsamic drizzle! Louis was kind and understanding when i called initially but Christine went above and beyond when i spoke to her regarding the situation. Bravo guys!
