“The waitress was very friendly and willing to joke around with us which we like. We ordered the pretzel and they aren't kidding when they say it's Vermont's biggest! It was absolutely delicious. The dipping sauces are both excellent. My husband and I also ordered the cheeseburgers. They were big and juicy. Could have used a little more cheese as the patty is so large, but that is minor. My husband had a side of buffalo chicken fries and loved them. My only complaint was I thought the fries had a weird taste like it was time to change the oil in the fryer because they picked up the flavor of the other foods fried in the oil. Overall we will definitely be back!”

“Had such a great time here. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile and hello. I did not catch her name but a young blond girl assisted us. She was great! While my daughter was trying to pick out what she wanted the girl helped by telling her the choices. Then she asked my daughter what her favorite color was and tried to help her have a colorful “rainbow” cup. Later she hooked my daughter up with sprinkles for her chocolate milk and to put on her yogurt. My girl was thrilled. Even when the girl got off her shift she took the time to say goodbye to my daughter. I felt like we walked into someone’s home and not a coffee shop. The place had plenty of comfy seats, a beautiful plant, and very good music. The coffee and blueberry muffin I ordered were delicious! The muffin tasted freshly made and the coffee was strong. I will be coming back here every chance I get.”

“The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. This is a popular lunch spot. If you time it wrong be prepared for a wait. The chilli was very good. The hot pastrami sandwich was decent. Not the best pastrami I have had and a bit lite on the meat. The potato soup was a bit overwhelmed by the oregano (?). I felt the prices were rather high for what you got. There is plenty of free parking nearby and the restaurant was not overly loud. It was easy to carry on a conversation at normal volume. Even when the restaurant was busy.”

Was visiting northern Vermont on a motorcycle trip with some friends and stopped in several different restaurants and cool, not cold beer seemed to be a thing. Update to the above review. Stopped in again with some motorcycle friends for lunch. It's been a month. Food was excellent as was the service(ask for Ellen) . Beer was cold. Will be back in October.”

“We go several time a year and the food is almost always great. The ongoing issue with this restaurant is the length of time to order and receive you food. Waiting an hour for the main entree is not unusual. Surely they are aware. I have hypothesized that it must be due to a very small kitchen and they must be forced to prepare a small number of meals at a time.....along with probably a much smaller than needed staff. Again that's just a wild guess on my part. Nonetheless we keep going back. The clam chowder is incredible. The Vermonter burger is award winning. If you can wait an hour for your food then by all means try them out!”

“Loved this place! I will definitely be returning soon. You can tell the pizza, from the crust to the toppings, are fresh. The decor has a pizza oven and industrial feel, which is charming. The sever was pleasant. However, I had to request a refill and I prefer not to wait on drinks (a bit picky like that). We ordered the Simone’s Special, sooooo good. Beware: They have very generous portions! We ordered a large pizza with the garlic knots and barely made a dent in it. If you have two in your party order a small pie. Only order a large if you want leftovers, have a large group, or are the winner of eating contests are fairs. I personally would disagree with the statement that this place has NY pizza. I’ve lived in NY and the pizza is different. I would say that it is as equally good, but still different. For kids: My daughter ordered the cheese roll and loved it. She was literally dancing in her seat while eating it.”
