“What a great concept. A former Auto shop turned onto a bar/ restaurant. We were told about this late night place by some local bartenders, only place that stays open late. Nice diamond plate bar with a wide selection of local craft beers, bottle beer & wine. Open concept here with tables, band stage, couch & fire place, corn hole, video games, darts. And if your hungry, a small little taco style place inside with a nice selection of food. This is the go to after hours hang out for all the local bartenders & restaurant employees in the area. Worth the stop.”

“We heard about the new food truck and couldn't help but stop by. The food is phenomenal. We got the two foil-wrapped shaved lamb sandwiches yous see in the first picture, and the potatoes. The lamb sandwiches were divine-- fluffy, fresh pita, tender and flavorful lamb, and caramelized onion jam. Even after I was full to the brim I still ate more bites-- a testament to the absolute excellence of this food truck. Currently, they are cash-only, but there is a convenient ATM right down the street at the bank. The potatoes were good as well- everything you want in a big hunk of salty/smooth/spiced. All in all, a 6/5 for presentation and taste... welcome Mudgie's to Johnson. We're glad you're here, and we'll be returning!”

“While we'll miss Harvest Market, Dedalus is a great addition to Stowe. Staff is super friendly and knowledgable. We love all the interesting chocolates they carry, as well as the prepared food. “We've had better and we've had worse. Everything was too sweet. Our biggest issue was the ingredients in the curry that were not listed on the menu! When a dish is described as coming with zucchini, peppers, carrots, and onions don't also put in baby corn, mushrooms, and celery! Some people have allergies or strong preferences.”

“Great food ! Definitely stop by here ? Experience: Stopped here for some breakfast food today. Didn't know what to expect , nice from the exterior and even nicer in the interior. Friendly staff , average prices. Our food came out perfectly. We decided to try their "bacon egg and cheese croissant" also their "sugar shack crepe" For our beverage we had milk with our meal , also a hot chocolate, and the wife had lemonade... all very good. The croissant came with a pesto style mayonnaise so if you love pesto then this is the place to be . We had such a great experience here and the food was perfect. Nice work " Skinny Pancake " would love to stop by and try something else on their menu if in the area. I would definitely recommend you stop here for some good breakfast or lunch. “My wife and I had a wonderful experience with Café on Main. We placed an online to-go order for breakfast and lunch. I made a request to wrap the lunch sandwiches tightly as we would be carrying them with us on a hike of Mt Mansfield. We were met with not only phenomenal sandwiches, but personalized notes that made our day. We highly recommend Café on Main and will continue to visit on our trips to Stowe.”

“Yum! For today's lunch we tried the jerk chicken dinner, the curried goat, jerk chicken sandwich, rice and beans, fried plantains and festivals. All three of us are in heaven! We were nervous the spicy jerk sauce might be too spicy, so we went half and half between spicy and mild and it was super yummy and not spicy at all. I finished my meal with a refreshing cucumber juice. Amazing on a hot summer day! We'll be back!”

“Hard to beat with great cross country skiing, snow showing and down hill skiing all on site or nearby. A bit of old Austrian flavor to their decor, certainly their history, and of course their fine restaurant. Affiliated Brew house serves their superb craft beers and fine versions of Austrian traditional foods. Very helpful and just plain nice staff. Its hard to be perfect but they came close for a great winter long weekend. We will be back!”

“I really enjoyed the meal I ate here, and the owner is a wonderful person. I had the dry rub wings and enjoyed them thoroughly. While the prices on some of the larger entrees can seem daunting, there are affordable options that are just as delicious. Live music on Mondays and open mics on Tuesdays. I would thoroughly recommend Moog's Joint, especially if you love their original incarnation in Morrisville, Moog's Place. Really great to see a new place in Johnson.”

“Nice new location. Great spirits, especially the Vodka. They have a new grapefruit vodka my wife loves. The barrel aged maple syrup is a classic Vermont way to end a tasting. Loved it, too.
