“This is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is so consistently fresh and delicious and the people that run the restaurant are always so kind and welcoming. We especially love the curry and basil dishes, they spice them however we ask, and again, they just prepare them so perfectly. Be sure to try the curry puffs - delicious. Coziest and welcoming restaurant with incredible chef, staff, and Thai food. Highly recommend.”

“My sister and brother-in-law are on their honeymoon in Stowe. With the help of Taylor at tourism Stowe and Leah at the Butchery I was able to get Leah to put together a picnic basket with all kinds of goodies from her shop. Just seeing the pictures from my sister I am over the moon happy with the end result. Thank you Leah and team for this amazing basket you put together.”

“It's a nice bagel shop with a great variety of breakfast sandwiches and spreads for your morning feast. Coffee was very good. We had sesame bagels with olive spread and the veggie spread the 2x we visited during our morning bike ride. Ample seating both indoors and out, we surely will stop in again for breakfast.”

“Good food average drive joint family run for breakfast and lunch. Extremely over priced for what you get. They need to realize they are back woods country drive at best cut prices in half. The bat deal is doing the build your own Platters save about 25 to 30 percent that way. Service is good not fast and far from being on point but there is a lot of them so it does make for quick turns. Big parking lot so makes for easy parking and in and out access.”

“Sauce for dumplings and for sweet and sour chicken was microwaved. Was told do not speak to loudly because owner had her baby in the middle of the restaurant. Fried rice was drenched in soy sauce. The place seemed a little messy”

“Fantastic new place in Stowe serving some of the best burritos I have ever eaten. I ordered the Vermexico( beef) and wife ordered El Monte Verde ( chicken), both were enormous, flavorful, and delicious. They also make all their sauces in house, both red and green very tasty indeed. We did not need to try out the bikes department since we rode our own there, but a quick perusal indicated quality was job one. Will certainly return here again on our next visit !”

“Went for dinner on a Sunday evening. Was a little unsure because the place was almost empty when we got there but it was great. Menu was traditional tavern fare but the burger and fries were both excellent. Waitress was very friendly and even though business picked up a bit after we got there still did a great job.”

“Cool little venue, big enough to not feel cramped but small enough to stay cozy. Friendly staff and prompt service. Clean restaurant with a young, hip vibe. Nice vinyl collection on display too... Stop in, don't miss this little gem of Stowe!”

“Small home business with a quaint Swiss atmosphere. Staff was friendly. Crepes in the open face salmon sandwich was tasty. European portions not American portions so don't expect a huge plate of food. For my wife and I it was just enough. You can order from the breakfast lunch or dinner menu all day long. If you order to separate meals you can split the desert without an upcharge.”

“Stopped in here for an Italian sub sandwich and was surprised to find it so tasty and satisfying. We wanted something a bit lighter than we'd been eating and it was the perfect choice.”

“Good food, good service. A small, intimate setting that we weren't expecting. We were seated promptly and received attentive service without hovering nor rushing. I had the pan seared scallops that looked as appealing in presentation as they tasted. My partner enjoyed his venison flank steak that was superbly prepared and artfully presented. Definitely a worth the trip!”

“Amazing food and service! We really enjoyed lunch at the Whip and will be adding it to the short list of restaurants we enjoy. Be sure to try the homemade corn chowder and the French fries are some of the best I have ever had. 5 star rating for sure..”

“My wife had the pancakes. Best ever. I had the biscuits and gravy. Best ever. We've traveled pretty extensively over the country and this place is the top 5 breakfast. The staff was pleasant and the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Lots of locals here too so you know it's not a fluke that the food was great. Little bit of a wait but they move the guests in and out very efficiently without feeling rushed to turn over the tables.”

“Needed to find a smoothie for a toddler. We decided to try this place out since it was near the Butler's Pantry. I got an iced green tea for myself and smoothies for my husband and son. They both enjoyed their drinks. I was surprised my son drank all of his since he's a picky eater. They have coffee, tea, smoothies, pastries and a selection of beers toward the back. There's indoor seating and a small outdoor sitting area. I would come back again to try their other menu items.”

“Great Mountain to ski at if you are a veteran skier or a rookie. This mountain really excels with families of all types of skill level but mainly young families or first time skiing families, there is three peaks, one peak is designated just for new to rookie riders! The other two mountains are for experienced to thrill seeking skiers. The prices to ski here are cheap compared to their competitors, this mountain is the best bang for your buck. But the low price comes at a cost, the base logs are not as glorious as say Sugarbush or Stowe, they are more just like traditional ski lodges. They have a bar, food, a place to sit down, TV and heat, in my opinion all that anyone skiing will need! Lodges 7/10, Trails 9/10, Staff 10/10, Housing 6/10.”

“Wonderful ambience, service was great, and delicious sushi and mac and cheese. Seating alongside the river which was amazing with the views and sounds of water. Relaxed casual atmosphere with pool tables. Server was excellent, informative, friendly, and professional. Unfortunately burger had to be sent back a couple times, but server was great.”

“Wow, was this one a surprise. In the midst of an awesomely appointed but sterile Spruce Creek scene is this small cafe with an interesting set of craft beers, some incredibly tasty crepes, and a warm, friendly, and authentic staff. Perfect stop, especially if the WhistlePig Pavilion isn't open yet. Bonus points if you can grab a seat where you can watch the curling games on the ice outside.”

“PS. I found a purse ???? light brown creamy color and I left it with hostess. On a rainy Saturday. Picture posted. July 13 My google ID is farzad77 Food was okay. Not great. Vermont offers much better. People are kind. A very very Huge NO NO is for waiters and waitresses 3 of them to touch a dog and petting it and continue handling food. Not right I post pictures of one”

“We came here after a hike a few minutes up the road. It was really good and all six of us loved our food. The sandwiches were on nice thick toasted country bread and was lightly toasted which made it special. You can't go wrong with whatever you order.”
