“This place makes the Texan in me very happy. Small grocer, dried chilies and rhinestone cowboy boots!”

“Blown away with the kindness of the people working this little resturant. The service was above standard. And the food was absolutely perfect. Yeah, everyone serves eggs and bacon, but when was the last time you went to eat breakfast and the food comes to your table, it looks perfect, and when you cut into your eggs and they are not runny, and you take the first bite and then....you had to look to see if your mother is working in the kitchen?! It was fantastic. Thanks you to Fox’s Cafe!!! I will be back!”

“Wonderful eatery. I stopped in for breakfast once and it has become my go-to place for breakfast. I owner is extremely nice and service is quick. I have had lunch there twice and both times were great. It isn't really much of a grocery store, but I think the goods are more for aesthetics. Has the long lost feeling of a family run joint, with homemade baked items and food made right in front of you. Highly recommended.”

“I have been here many times over the years and while there occasionally is a dish that we get I don’t particularly care for, some of the best meals I have ever had have been here. I love coming here with friends and visitors alike. I recommend the papas braves and obviously the bacon wrapped dates. You won’t be disappointed.”

“Although the waitress was pleasant, the food was mediocre. The desserts we ordered took over 30 minutes to come to the table. I really wanted to eat at the local for the night but they were booked for the night and suggested us to check out their sister restaurant, sadly I dont think I'll return.”

“This is a wonderful place to get food. Especially if you like your meat options. I have been to No Limits a number of times and each visit I always get a nice recommendation from the staff whether I am eating in, carrying out or bulk ordering. They are very friendly and energetic people. It is a clean building with a comfortable and laid-back environment. It's a great atmosphere for a family meal or catching up with friends. The food of course is always well prepared and freshly made. There is always a beautiful blend of flavors when paired with sauces or eaten alone. I would highly suggest this restaurant to anybody and everybody.”

“Memorable Evening. Had drinks and appetizers outside and it was really lovely. I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted & thanked by the owners during my visit. Food was delicious and the servers were attentive (great service is hit-or-miss in Cville restaurants so it really made an impression on me) . The bartender even came to our table to verify a drink order. I would recommend this for dinner, drinks or lounging on the back patio.”

“Really cute, cozy restaurant. Came here for a bridal shower in the second floor space. Loved the openness of the space with the vaulted ceilings and large windows. Food was good and they were very knowledgeable and accommodating to my many food allergies. Try the MAN Chardonnay if you prefer a steal barreled one - it was great!”

“LOVED this place. Yeah, it is a little off the main downtown pedestrian area, but only a 4-5 minute walk away. And they have much more space to spread out and a really nice and open outdoor seating area. Staff are friendly and quick. Most importantly, the beers are awesome (loved the Watermelon Gose - tasted like jolly rancher and Minute Man IPA - a truly unique flavor) and the food was delicious (short rib entree was beautifully presented with a great variety of flavors). They had plenty of water to keep hydrated. We tried South Street on the same evening and no question agreed, this place would be our choice to return to again.”

“This place is so surprisingly good! As someone who has lived in Japan, I was legitimately amazed at how good and pure and smooth the sake is. Their flavors are amazing and some of the sake is like drinking water. They have done an amazing job with their process and making a smooth flavorful sake. And who knew that they would have five-star level food at this place? It is fancy and tasty! And the staff was so friendly and helpful and sociable I came back the next day!”

“In the area and wanted to try some local breakfast food so tried this top rated place. Based on the name it may be "by a creek" but you won't see it anywhere from the restaurant. It is across from an industrial lot and nothing to write home about from the outside. Perfectly safe but just nothing to want to sit outside for or try to get a window (not sure if they even have one). Once inside it is very fun/ kitschy decorated with stuffed animal paraphernalia etc, they are definitely having a lot of fun with it. Very friendly and nice folks meet you right at the door and quickly get you to a seat, and then they quickly take your drink order. Service is quick and everyone is friendly. Food prices are very reasonable and in-line with the quantity/ quality you get. This isn't a fancy place at all (ex. hard plastic school cafeteria style plates) but they are quick and I felt I got fair value for the money. The food was OK - eggs and bacon totally fine, coffee good, the breakfast potatoes were not crispy at all (dare say soggy), and the buttermilk biscuit was not buttery and definitely reheated. The place has a few different rooms and the cashier is in one of them where you pay yourself on the way out. Overall, I really liked the local flavor and the people, but I would be willing to pay a little more somewhere else for a better view and a little higher quality food.”

“I have heard that this place serves good breakfast. If you're reading a review, then you're likely not looking for a dive bar at 11pm, but if you are this is the best one. This place is the epitome of what a college town bar should be. They host student bands to play live music which is great for the student arts community. Their drinks are not all that expensive. If you're a student it is very hard to go the whole night not seeing someone you know there. I love it. It's also near sheetz, so after you get drunk the drunk food is so close. Their specialty drink "The Fuckityfuck" is very good, but a little expensive.”

“Why did simple sushi traverse the globe? The art of matching simple flavors to delight the entire palate is the magic of this cuisine. If you have never experienced how sushi was so much more than the sum of its parts, Kuma can introduce you.”

“We went in late on a Saturday afternoon after a long hike. We were very hungry and pizza sounded great. Our server must have been new, but she did fine. We got Caesar salad, which was plentiful and delicious. We followed that up with buttery, garlicky knots and two pizzas. We got the Southern Barbeque one with chicken, red onions, bbq sauce and bacon. We made up a white pizza, Roma tomatoes, sundried tomatoes and spinach. They were excellent. The crust was perfectly baked and the sauces were fantastic. We took the leftovers home to Va Beach and enjoyed them cold that night and the next day. This place was super!!”

“The shopping center is pretty run down, but inside the restaurant was bright and clean. The staff was friendly and the food was flavorful. I got the fajita chicken enchilada and it was very tasty!”

“Food was absolutely amazing. So many choices to choose from. They have chicken, fries, pizza and other choices if you have a picky eater like my son. Lol. The sushi and all the other seafood was really good too. Clean and friendly place. Highly recommend this place.”

“They stole my ID, I knew they had it. Took 4 tries to finally get it back. Used to wait 15-30 minutes, sometimes more for them to microwave 2 hot dogs with the wrong toppings then let them get cold again. But, lately, it's really been a lot better. Tanya used to be the only one who did a good job. Now she's the manager and most of the rest of the staff is different. They've really stepped it up, and I appreciate it! Changed my review from 1 star to 5 stars.”

“I liked the service and the friendly staff. They have around 7-8 craft beer to try. They give free to taste. The food wasn't very creative enough but still it's a pub so I don't expect much on food over there. But the menu was a bit random. They have couple of Mexican, and other mostly American food with them. I would definitely suggest for a visit. There isn't much of a uniqueness, still I love the vibe around them.”

“This restaurant was very cozy and historical. The waitress was kind, friendly, and attentive. The French Onion Soup was probably the best I ever had, with just the right amount of cheese and the right portion. The burger (perfectly cooked, might I add) and fries were flavorful and filling, and it settled well with my stomach. Great restaurant overall!”

“Maddie the bartender is absolutely amazing. Shes attentive, charismatic, social, and all around great at her job. Unfortunately the management seems a bit not up to par...items are never in stock such as certain liquor, no plastic cups or napkins ordered. The staff is a dream though. The lovely bartender made it all worth it by making any drink she could with what was left and being so fun.”

“Almost all of my experiences at any chick-fil-a have been excellent. I've never had bad food or service. There's occasionally something missing but it tends to be a minor detail like the sauce.”
