“I've had some bad takeout experiences (wrong order, the order took too long, a lot of mix-ups) in the past but the wife love chicken and dumplings, so I reluctantly agreed to go. They got everything right. The right order in a reasonable time. The wife loved her chicken and dumplings. I tried the fried chicken. It was delicious, and more then I could eat. “Great service with friendly and fast working staff. The ice cream was delicious. We ordered the Birthday Cake Remix in a cup, and a Strawberry Shake. Both were made quickly and with a smile. The facility itself is a little small/narrow with only a handful of tables and chairs. This wasn't an issue for us, and nearly everyone else seemed to order their treats to-go as well. But if you plan to sit inside while it's busy, it can feel very crowded.”

“Great food, consistent with Jason's Deli franchise! The salad bar has all my favorites and I can rely on JD to make a good meal experience, even if I'm just getting a sandwich. The only area I can see for improvement is the ice cream machine -- when the ice cream is dark and grainy. The chocolate should be light and creamy. We bring the kids here for this reason alone, so it's a drag when that aspect is not maintained properly.”

I got two meals to go and the employee put my food in a bag upright so my subs were a heaping mess by the time I got home even though I had them laying flat during the drive home. The wait was long but it was lunchtime so that’s expected. The employee forgot to give me my drink cups so I helped myself to them. They need to pay more attention to detail. I will return as I love firehouse subs!”

“This is our favorite Pho restaurant, by far. They are so accommodating and Corey is a terrific server. He was super informative and helped us pick just what we would like. The interior of the restaurant is simply beautiful, totally unexpected given that it's in a strip mall. We've gotten some to-go orders as well and it was just as delicious. Everything is so fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend!”

“This place is wonderful. I’ve been there twice. First with a buddy and shortly after with my wife. She loves seafood so I couldn’t wait to take her to the Pier. I’ve had their boiled shrimp, mussels and fried shrimp. Every thing was excellent. The servers were top notch. We were seated quickly despite the crowd on both nights. Our server showed up right away. The meal was served prompt and hot. I can’t wait to go back.”

“This is my first review ever and this place was so great I had to leave one. First, the food was delicious. Best that I've had in Hampton by far. Next, staff were so kind and friendly. Gave us a warm welcome when we walked in (even the sushi chefs said hello from behind the counter). They were attentive but gave us time to enjoy our experience. Lastly, the restaurant is a clean, gorgeous, amazing atmosphere. Ignore previous reviews about the smell - it's new and smells like fresh wood. Will definitely come back!!”

Te he he...Let me just say that the customer service is what brought me to do this review. The fried chicken is nicely seasoned and juicy. Fried to perfection actually! I had the whiting fish sandwich, which was full and plentiful! Wow! Wish there was some sort of house made sauce to go along with it though. We also tried the Chicken & Waffles! Loved it! This is a no frills hometown chicken joint that has good food! I’m looking forward to a few years of establishment and growth!!”
