“Always love this place mainly because their food is healthy, fresh and delicious. So many great choices. Vegetarian choices as well. To sit under the veranda on a hot day overlooking the river was dreamy. I didn't want to go.”

“The food and service was decent. The drinks were good. The view was phenomenal. I was disappointed with the portion size. I would be slightly exaggerating calling the entre tapas size, however, I would strongly suggest that you order appetizers and desserts. The food was decent but nothing extraordinary. The view was my best memory.”

“Great show with singing, dancing and engaging the crowd. Food taste is ok for amusement park food. Picnic style of seating is fun for families. It is air conditioned and a great pit stop in the middle of the day. A chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of the park. Young children seemed to enjoy the show and food. A fun place to get dessert and a beer.”

“Our waitress Caroline was awesome. She was definitely the star of the show. She was attentive despite having a large family with kids. She even prepared an "apple juice" flight so that the kids could feel like the adults. Wonderful job Caroline and thanks for going the extra mile”

“Amazing cuisine and service! We stayed at Wedmore Place for a few days and dined at Cafe Provencal and the tavern for every meal. Both were so awesome we didn't even think about dining anywhere else. The service is personable and professional without being stuffy. The staff was attentive and seemed to always anticipate our needs and desires. Thank you for a wonderful experience!”

“A unique experience for old southern Virginia food. The Miss Melinda Special is the classic dish. Comes with iced tea, an interesting fruit salad of half peach, a pineapple slice, cheese, and mayo, Brunswick stew, ham and biscuit sandwich, and a pie slice. The stew and sandwich was very tasty. I had the buttermilk pie. Pretty good. Could have used a slight dusting of powder sugar.”

“Great place! Food is delicious and very traditional to the Spanish culture. Service was amazing and the price was not that bad. It is a little higher in price, but the food and the experience make it worth it. WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST GOING!!! I prefer the first paella listed on the menu. That is one of the best paellas I have ever had.”

“Wonderful flavors, great combinations and good service! Prices were reasonable. The restaurant itself was simple but very clean. Service was prompt and the desserts were excellent! I seldom write reviews, but this place really deserves a shout out!”

“I worked for Taco Bell back in the 80s and it was so good to me in those days. This location brought me back to the 80s, it is just like I remember it when I worked there. We came just before closing time for the dining room, but they still accommodated us. All 6 of us were impressed.”

“It’s decent restaurant. We went there in afternoon so it was buffet. Options were limited. May be we got used to grand buffet everywhere else. Taste was good. Service was good considering it’s buffet. No issues with parking. Restrooms are clean.”

“Great selection of real foods. Nice desserts and coffee, if you like Starbucks. The lamb was tender and tasty. The carrot cake was moist and delicious. They have vegetables and roasted potatoes. They have multiple food destinations... You can get a little of anything that you're looking for. They have a kid's menu too. There's open air seating in a theater setting and you can see a show if you time it right.”

“Good food, great desserts, but the line is normally EXTREMELY LONG. It took us longer to get food than it did to wait in line at a roller coaster. I think it could have been that it was near an entrance of the park, I would try to find somewhere near the middle of the park if you don't want to wait as long. (They had a gluten free option and were really nice)”

“We went late in the afternoon, and no one greeted us for some time, so we sat ourselves. The waitress seemed surprised to see us there, but she was great. We order friend yuca with mole to dip in and it was amazing! I ordered grilled chicken and my partner had the Cuban sandwich. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal here!”

“My husband and I visited the National Pancake & Waffle House on Saturday, June 1st, 2019 for breakfast. We were both very satisfied with our order of Belgium Waffles with a side order of bacon. The waffles were perfect and the bacon was very crispy and non greasy. Just the way we both like it. The restaurant has a very good selection of meals and there's something for everyone. The server was attentive and the cashier was very helpful. It was good experience. ????????”
