“My husband and I stayed here one night and had the most wonderful experience. The people are so friendly. The house and grounds are Beautiful! The food: dinner and breakfast, were delicious. The pool is so pretty and the mountains in the background make it spectacular. There are lots of places to hang out in the house and socialize if you are coming with friends. There are 2 wineries within 5 minutes and many many more a short distance away. And at the end of the trip, my husband tells me he never wants to stay at another place again because nothing will be as nice as this. We’ve been all over VA, MD, DC, PA, NY staying at different B&Bs but none compare to this place. It’s truly exceptional. I was having sensory overload with the beauty of it all. I’m so happy to have found this place to get away.”

“Great find in northern Virginia. The space is charming, very inviting with a beautiful patio/garden, and a homey yet romantic feeling to it. The staff is very helpful and friendly. This was our first time, we had rice balls, lamb shoulder, rye ravioli, summer soup and red wine. What a treat. We’re definitely coming back!”

“The drive to Griffin Tavern is guaranteed to please anyone. It is some of the prettiest countryside in Virginia. The servers are always pleasant. The food is decent and comes to the table nice and hot. I have been a few times. I can't quite put it together but something puts me off which is why I give four stars. I apologize for being vague, i just cannot figure it out.”
