“I've always loved Sugar Shack donuts. Firstly, they're a pretty good size. Secondly, they're light and fluffy. Thirdly, they have tasty and unique flavors. My personal favorites are the Samoa and any of the ones with berry icing.I got a bunch for work but I tried the seasonal blueberry lemon one - so good! You could really taste the fruit flavors. I will say that these donuts are pretty sweet, but you probably knew that coming to a place called Sugar Shack.”

“Really good food. It's a small restaurant/grocery. They roast the chickens in front of you and there is a guy outside working a massive barbeque. Order at the counter, no real wait staff, but everyone was friendly and the food was cheap. We were probably the only native English speakers in there, but the staff all spoke English well. “The food is not that bad.. but they really need help at the bar.. the tap has been down for days and apparently it's "the vendors fault for putting off the repair" they got a decent selection of taps too.. Oh well guess I'll try again. Tomorrow... Edit: last visit was 10 months ago (2 stars), as of this week i stopped by since i was at the candle wood next door. (Not impressed that place) anyways the tap worked just fine today, it was ice cold and pretty good. I had the chicken wings with bbq sauce.. not too bad.. I will give them 3.5 stars (for this visit).. the servers were friendly and only took about 10 minutes for the order. The reason for the half star short of 4.. the carrots, celery and lettuce was old.”

“A wonderful little surprise on JDH. I cannot claim to know what is "authentic" Mexican cuisine, but to my simple pallet, this is it. The restaurant is a no frills experience at the back of the market. The menu is loaded with pics for gringos like me, and you choose your drink from the refrigerator next to the cashier. Besides the usual fare, you will find many items not usually seen at your run-of-the-mill Mexican restaurant. Don't ask me that they are called; all I can say is they are delicious. Finally, the fresh condiments include the usual sauces, pico de gallo, and freshly chopped cilantro. So if you want something different (and delicious), stop into the back of Brisas Del Mar Latino Market and grab a bite to eat.”
