Today was just such a day and we were fortunate that someone left one of the seats. That opened up room for our duo to snag places to sit inside on a cold and windy morning in May.”

I got the redneck Benedict which was amazing, thick ham and the best hollandaise sauce I’ve had in my life. My husband got the corned beef hash one day and country fried steak the next and he said they were great! Great service too!”

“Four if us looking for a place that offered beer flights. Thank you Blewett for providing a great atmosphere! We sat outside and enjoyed the mountain view from up the street, and people watched. There's merch to take Blewett home with you. From t-shirts to some bottled beer. Our wait person was very attentive to all the tables having lunch outside. My table of 4 had three various beer flights and the BBQ chicken pizza. I can't say enough of how pleasant and delicious our lunch was.”

“The smell of cooking meat calls to you as you walk past on the street. It whispers to you of sweet delights inside. It does not lie! We started with a soft pretzel which the kids quickly declared to be the best they’ve had here in Leavenworth. We shared the family platter for four, so we were able to sample most of the things they serve. It was all amazing. We kept exclaiming to each other “oh wow! Have you tried the X yet?!” with our mouths full of food. The family meal for four was far more than we could eat, and it will be a race to see who can get to the leftovers first. We finished off with apple strudel which was also declared to be excellent by everyone. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that we were waited on by the excellent and friendly Megan. She was hostess and the only server and we didn’t feel neglected or like we were a bother for a minute. It felt more like she was welcoming us into her home. Try Ludwig’s! A great dining experience is calling you!”

“This has become our to go place during pandemic. They have big patio sitting with nice views of the mountains from each seat. They even have heater if it is too cold for you or umbrellas for tables if it is too sunny. We get the build your own item where you choose the items and the chef prepares for you on a big plate. Easy to mask indoors and eat outdoor while enjoying the views. They have so many vegetarian options to pick while building your own plate. We always visit here now when in Leavenworth area.”

“Was a great place to visit our first time in Leavenworth…food was great, and the prices weren’t bad. I had the combination platter with the bratwurst and sausage and enjoyed it, my wife got the steak sandwich and it was delicious and the steak was cooked perfectly. The only downside we experienced was that the waitress didn’t offer us anything else to drink other than water. That’s fine..just would have liked to had an offer. All in all, not a reason to not go back…we will be back”

“I stayed for 3 nights with my best friend. The grounds are serene, with a magestic mountain backdrop and spacious area between cabins under the canopy of giant pines. There were wonderful chorus frogs this time of year (late April) and a herd of small dear grazed through right outside our window one morning. Everything felt really well-cared for and maintained, though the pool was not usable at the time of our visit, the hot-tub was, and that was much appreciated. My friend and I each had one spa treatment and were very satisfied with the quality of service. Breakfast options were good and food was fresh and tasty. We ate dinner at the resort once, and it was not fresh, and not tasty. But the rest of our stay was so lovely, I'd give 5 stars anyway, and next time we'll bring our own dinner or eat in town. Town is only 5 minutes away, so it's super convenient.”

“My wife and I came here on the first night of our honeymoon. It was a pretty cool place, but the service was a bit slow, which was expected due to how busy it was. My wife got the hot spiced wine which she enjoyed, and I got an old fashioned which I also enjoyed. For dinner I got "the burg" which was excellent! One of the best burgers I've ever had. My wife got the "chicken and avo" which she loved. All in all the food was amazing and the drinks were just as good, my only complaint is that the service was very slow. Otherwise it was a great experience.”

“The service was great and the food was good. Normally that's an easy 4 star in my book, but this is Leavenworth. Smashed between a river and some mountains, space is at a premium. Louie's does the best with the space they have and that's a lot. The other Leavenworth side effect is price. I could be wrong here, I know that the price of everything is going up, but my experience with tourist destinations are tourist prices. Granted, there is a McDonald's just down the road if I wanted cheap, but Louie's just wasn't my cup of tea...or coffee. It's not a bad place and I hope, if you are in town during breakfast, you give them a try. The staff are truly wonderful and go out of their way to make your meal there the best. Maybe it just wasn't my morning.”

“Went on a Thursday night. Got on the wait list and waited about an hour, we spent most of that at the hotel then walked over. The place was packed! Worth the wait. The food was amazing, great beer, and fast service! Loved the live music. Only 4 stars because the bathrooms are two single bathrooms for the whole restaurant and they were gross. Don’t mind the long wait and try this place out!”
