“Still a very nice place to dine. Good service and friendly people. New menus are good. Food quality is OK, better than before, but can still use work. Pancakes are wonderful. Waffles are not. I really wish their waffle can be better. In fact, it's just a pancake with grill marks. NOT at all qualifies as waffles. But I guess that's why it's a pancake house not a waffle house... They give discounts to hospital employees and veterans. I love the community aspects of this establishment... Thanks!”

“If I could give them two 5-star ratings, I would. One for their amazing, authentic food and one for their service to people living in Bremerton, literally keeping people housed and working hard to get others off the street. My kids also enjoyed the welcoming, family atmosphere.”

“We've become big fans of Thai Palace. We were quite surprised that this place was even there. I had driven past this location twice a day for months without even noticing the new signs. My lady and I had a late-night ahead of us and decided to drive to Port Orchard to grab something to eat while we prepared. We saw this place was open while sitting at the stoplight at 6th and Callow and decided to safely do a U-turn and park. When we came into the restaurant, the entrance was a bit confusing, but we found our way to the front. It was fairly empty, but to be expected for a place so new that hasn't done any real advertising. We were seated quickly and were fairly impressed with the decor. It looked completely renovated on the inside. Some of the roof tiles are already stained and sagging, and the booth banquets look as though they were used from a different restaurant. We got the menus and read through the expansive list. There are so many items and they all sounded delicious. Since it was Thai, I went with the standard Chicken Pad Thai and my lady ordered the Pad Sukiyaki. We also ordered curry puffs as an appetizer. I ordered my food 5 star spicy, and the owner came to our table asking to make sure I knew what I was getting myself into. He explained that he had friends in town FROM Thailand who ordered 5 stars and even they said it was very hot. I heeded his advice and lowered it to 4 stars. I quickly realized after my first few bites of the 4 stars that I probably would have had a heart attack at 5 stars. The dishes came out piping hot and beautifully presented with garnish and some very cool boat shaped dishes. The owner came over several times to talk with us, tell us stories and check in with our table. They also gave us complimentary Thai iced teas for their grand opening. He told us about hot the recipes came to be, how he started the restaurant and how he plans on advertising. He was a very cordial guy. They kept our water cups filled with yummy lime infused water which helped cool our palates. We were so impressed by this place and hoped it would stick around. We visited a second time on one of our days off for lunch and had the same great experience. We ordered the crispy crab appetizer which is Crab Rangoon with real crab on the inside, very delicious. We saw the owner again and spoke to him some more. Hopefully, they gain in popularity once people realize how good the food is there so that we can enjoy them for a long time to come. Also, I hope they get that leaky roof fixed. If I recall, the first time we came it was slightly dripping on the floor in one spot. The building is old, so leaks are common I'm sure. We'll keep coming back and supporting this local business. My son and I have our father-son Thai place in Port Orchard that we go on our "man-dates", so it's nice that Thai Palace has become a great date-night or lunch spot just for my lady and I to have as our own. If you like your Thai food VERY spicy, this is going to be your spot!”

“Amazing specials, great music, friendly service. This place is a winner! Got the grilled cheese and tots and my husband had a burger. Both were very good. They have live music every night and insane food/drink specials every day. Would definitely be a regular here if we lived in the area!”

“This little food truck packs a massive punch! These are some of the best enchiladas I have had. The people running this truck are friendly and the service is so fast! I had my food in hand about 4 minutes after I ordered. Everything down to the rice was flavorful, and I know I'm going to have to struggle not to buy lunch here every day! Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.”

“What the heck took me so long to get in here and try it?!! Don’t be like me and make that mistake! Get here quick. The options are practically endless and the service is fast and friendly. My husband and I tried several items and were pleased with everything. I am the person who eyeballs all the dishes as they come out of the kitchen and everything looked yummy. We showed up on a Friday about half an hour before closing and by closing the place was packed! They never made us feel rushed at all and were very attentive. I HIGHLY recommend Suzy’s Kitchen”

“100% the best customer service I've ever received from any fast food restaurant! The lobby was closed, but the nice cashier still let me use the restroom, and the people in the drive thru are wonderfully friendly. 10/10 would recommend :3”

“Great hole in the wall. Small business ownership. However come prepared, its cash only.”

“The food is amazing - made fresh while you wait, and worth it even if there is a little wait (the owner is the only cook). They don't have dine in, but they offer paper placemats for eating in the car. One thing to watch out for: they are cash only.”

“It was authentic flavors of Mexican street food. They had a few American Mexican items as well, But they are street tacos are as close to authentic as I've seen in a while. Their prices are great. You could definitely fill up on $10 or less per person.”

“GREAT food! It's pretty difficult to find authentic Hawaiian food out here. This place comes really close and even hits right on the mark with their menu. Pretty bit portions, so make sure to come with an empty stomach, or be ready to share and/ or take home some leftovers!”

“This place is my favorite Pho restaurant, the food is always good, its affordable, the staff is friendly. When I had surgery and was on a clear liquid diet, this is where I came to get broth. They were willing to sell me a cup of broth for $3.”

“Great place to meet someone as long as not lunch hour. Gets crazy at lunch. There is a TV, that had sports playing, but it was kind of loud and made having conversation difficult. Also, the TV is around the side by the restrooms instead of in the main dining room.”

“Excellent food. Excellent vegetarian choices. Excellent prices, despite a recent increase. Great salsas. It is a tiny place with only counter service, but that adds to the experience for me.”

“My first time and I loved it!. Wonderful welcoming lobby. Large friendly elegant feeling theatre room. Love having a place close by that shows the movies the chains don't bother with. I saw the Last Black Man in San Francisco. Excellant movie. Amazingly done!”

“Absolutely love this place. A really short walk from the marina or ferry terminal. A vast menu selection that has always been prepared to my asking. Small fully stocked bar with a multitude of TVs tuned to a variety of sports. Always a great atmosphere of happy people and superb wait staff.”

“Will definitely be back! The atmosphere is comfy and cozy. The elder couple that owns the place let us know they were shorthanded since their baristas' husbands got transferred and moved away. So if the service is a bit slow give them a break, relax, and enjoy the ambience!”

“I have been here a few times, and everytime I really try and give them the benefit of the doubt. For some reason chungs in Bremerton cannot make beef Hong Kong noodles as well as the Silverdale location. The difference between Silverdale and Bremertons Hong Kong noodles are; Silverdales noodles are more on the drier side with a ton of flavor, and the Bremerton's noodles are soggy with a weird thick gravy like sauce that fills the bottom of the box(which makes the noodles soggy). Also Bremertons location doesn’t serve pho ???????? Really fast service and friendly staff though ???????? Either way, I still love chungs, I would just prefer the silverdale location over the Bremerton location.”

“Recently came in on a friday night with my girlfriend and our son who is only 7 weeks old. Our server Michael was fantastic. I’m normally hesitant to go out to eat with our son because having a new baby is such a handful already. Michael was extremely polite and understanding of having our baby with us. Always made sure that we had what we needed. Constantly checking on us which was nice. He seemed to handle the large crowd of customers with ease. Will definitely be back. On top of excellent service the food and presentation was phenomenal. Highly recommend!”

“This is a great pub located in Bremerton near the ferry terminal as well as the theater. Service is prompt and courteous. There are some unique options on the menu, all of which sounded great. What caught my attention the most, was the elk burger with duck bacon. Wow. This burger is life changing. I don't know if I can ever eat a normal burger ever again and be satisfied. This burger must have been removed from the feast table in Valhalla because it is made up of the stuff of myth and legend. If you are in the area, I highly recommend visiting the Axe and Arrow.”

“After trying two different places that are closed between 2-4 pm on the weekdays, my daughter and I stumbled upon this little hole in the wall pizza joint while waking around the waterfront. When I mean hole in the wall I mean it. To get to the counter it is a long walk down to the counter to order pizza from Shane. I immediately liked it just for its look. Kinda plain looking simply because they are working on pizza instead of hanging pictures on the wall. Shane gave us good service and since we had just missed the lunch rush, he gave us a two for one deal. I was full after one slice and took the other slice home to the Mrs. This would be a great place to take the kids while waiting for a bus or ferry. Unlike several other places, this one will be open in the afternoon. We will definitely be going back.”
