“This is usually my favorite starbucks location, but their hours have been very inconsistent over the last couple months. I understand this is likely due to the pandemic and I'm not upset that it is being done, I am just getting frustrated with the fact that they do not update their hours online anywhere so its always a guessing game whether or not they will be open. I've been mostly avoiding this location for that reason. So I just wish they would update their hours so we could know when they are open. Also, the drive thru is constantly backed up to the road and is a very long wait, especially since the pandemic started and they had to close their lobby. But, I find my drinks taste best from this location and the staff are great so I'll definitely be coming back when things are more consistent again.”

Chicken bacon avocado sandwich was made with a perfectly crispy tender moist generous sized breast with well cooked bacon and fresh avocado. The home cut fries are good and they serve plenty. “This is the original store in Gig Harbor. It is very popular with local people and has a very loyal set of regular customers. Because it doesn't have a drive through and is not as close to the freeway, it has a more relaxed atmosphere than a busier Starbucks might have. The baristas are very warm and friendly and take the time to make sure you are getting exactly what you want.”

“Hands down best boba I’ve ever had. Staff was so sweet and patient with me because there was so much to choose from and I had a lot of questions!! Drinks came out fast, less than 5 minutes considering it was quite busy. The staff greeted me right away and it was overall great service. The tea was so fresh and the boba was perfect texture. “Because of Coronavirus, Starbucks only has orders to go. I actually like this because this location used to be very busy with the snotty downtown Tacoma set but now...it's very quiet and just a more enjoyable experience. As usual, the food and drinks were great, if overpriced. I used to work at a Starbucks in Atlanta, GA and I so much prefer the laid back vibe of Starbucks stores in the Pacific Northwest.”
