“I've only eaten the pulled pork sandwiches here, they're really good. Made with a tough crust hoagie roll and some good flavored meat and vegetables. It makes a big mess when you eat it so think about that when stopping in for lunch and quickly eating in your car. Fast service, good prices, cash only and the place smells "different". I give SD 4 stars.”

“A little difficult to find as Google told us to take a left when it was on the right. But when we got there was a quaint little brewery with plenty of seating. You kind of have to just go in and find a place to sit nobody really greeted us at the door. The menu is pretty typical bar food. We got a blue cheese burger and a barbecue pork coleslaw Burger. Side of spicy pickle fries. Burger buns ok, cold but soft. Blue cheese burger good but not as good as the BBQ coleslaw Burger. Smallish meat Patty. Side salad and coleslaw side very typical out of bag taste. Bland but probably so since goes on burgers and you wouldn't want a spicy coleslaw to overpower a burger. Pickle fries were best part of the food. Beer - Seasonal. it was kind of a cross between a porter and a stout they said. It was actually very good. A little bit of chocolate note but not a lot of bit of coffee. So for people who might not like a traditional coffee hinted dark beer it was actually nice and smooth with less coffee and more chocolate. Cute atmosphere. And I think I would give it a second go especially on a Saturday when it's by some beer, by a sandwich and get a second sandwich free.”

“I have come on a variety of times, some better than others... When I used to come years ago I liked the food quite a bit (it was definitely your delicious 'unhealthy, but I don't care' comfort food quality). The last three times I went though I had mixed feelings. I ordered a chicken burger- and saw the staff heat it up in the microwave before giving it to me. Restaurants that have grills shouldn't need to heat up food in a microwave... Another time I asked about if they had any sorbet (they served ice cream at one time, not sure if they still do) and explained I was having issues with dairy, and they behaved really annoyed about having to deal with food sensitivities and generally unpleasant to talk to when if came to asking ingredient-in-food questions. The third and most recent visit I just ordered sweet potato fries as takeout, but the cashier (who was pleasant) had taken his bare unwashed hand, grabbed a paper towel which he then put overtop the fries (holding the paper towel overtop) out of fear the fries might fall out of the cup it was served in. I get he was trying to make sure my fries didn't spill, but all I cared about was the bare hand overtop the food I would eat, with just a paper towel in between. It bugged me the whole drive home- wish I had said something so he is more self aware of his food handling.”

“Had their street tacos and were the best I've had that weren't my own. The ones I've had in other restaurants or from a taco truck aren't usually great because either the meat is cut too thick or there's a bunch of fat pieces in there. Everything about these were great and I loved that their tomatillo sauce was spicy, as most places do not make it that way. Will definitely be going back when I don't feel like making street tacos at home.”

I’ll admit that the foods just tasty, but having to wait in the drive through line for 15 minutes when there just me and another person or worse when I’m the only person in line and the kids just walk by as if I’m not there is frustrating and more than once I just pulled away and spent my money elsewhere. “As soon as you walk in you realize that the wait staff cares about you. There is usually a small wait if you go during the busy times but the roomy seating and the service once you sit is well worth the wait. The food is deserving of 4 stars where the pizza deserves 5 stars. The wait staff is there constantly there to ask if you need anything. There are plenty of beer to chose from. Parking is a little tight so if you have a big party, consider carpooling. Overall 5 stars...good job!”

“Our dinners and the service was good. Prices a little high for Stanwood. There was something not right with the oil the chips were fried in. They had an awful chemical taste to them. We returned our basket but did not say why. The second basket of chips also had the same chemical taste. Everyone at the table noticed. Chips and salsa are pretty important. “Decent take n bake. Had problems lately with thin crust pizzas not cooking correctly. Especially the New NY style. I'm guessing these pizza's are pre made ahead of time, maybe even a day or two ahead of time as I've noticed a strong yeast odor as well as them not getting crispy at all. The cheese will be browned and bubbling but the dough is still soft and almost soggy. No issues with the regular crust or Chicago style stuffed though. We eat here once or twice a month! Would give five stars (for what it is mind you) just wish they would dial in those thin crusts!”

“MOD hits the spot. They typically have a good beer special on Tuesdays (even for IPAs). Beer choices are fairly limited though. The Pizza is fantastic and the service behind the counter is pretty cool. Open fairly late 10 or 11pm depending on the evening, which is a nice change from typical Stanwood where everything closes at 8pm. I'd give it a five star but it's a chain which comes with the drawback of not being locally owned.”

“This was a little place, with big taste! Our food was very good, 15-20$ a person. Beer samples, and beautiful interesting dessert(share with friends). Service was quite slow, but there was only one cook and 3-4 waitresses... Will come back again, but not if I am rushed. Yum.”
