“Food was delicious but somebody didn't prepare my sushi correctly. Within several hours I became very very sick off of eating here. The sushi was delicious but had no idea it would make me as sick as I got. No hate against the restaurant but they need to train their staff better on prepping meat. Either that or not serve food even a day past its use date or of looking bad quality. It's a health and safety problem that should be fixed ASAP to keep others safe. Their miso soup was 10/10 though.... nice staff. Just wish I didn't get so sick. My rhododendron roll was really good until it made me sick.”

“I visited this new restaurant on opening day! I tried both the steak and the chicken pita. The steak pita was excellent, best I've had in a long time. As a side I selected the more healthy cauliflower bites. That was good too. The restaurant is beautiful and clean and the servers are friendly and offer advice when needed. Give them a try when you are in Princeton.”

“We first enjoyed lunch at Hillbrook and went back for Thanksgiving. Both meals were incredible! The service was impeccable, professional and courteous. The food was really special. I requested vegetarian at the time of my reservation and everything Chef prepared looked gorgeous and tasted delicious! The appetizers, entrees and desserts all tasted fabulous, were creative and beautifully displayed. My husband ordered directly off the menu and loved every bite. We plan to go back often. “very very nice staff, clean building. unfortunately the pizza wasnt very good, nothing was really wrong, it was cooked fine, just nothing special, can buy similar pizza in the frozen section of the super market. its basic sauce that belongs more so on spaghetti than pizza. ordered 2 pizzas, 1 with extra cheese , but you couldnt tell which was which, maybe they just forgot the extra cheese. again , no big deal, but wasnt good enough to eat it again. if i lived in friendly, id prob get used to it since there is nothing else close by. not a complaint, just an honest review. i do hope you stay in business, friendly needs you.”

“I was in the area visiting friends and found this super cute and inviting place to stay. I was told the hotel has been in operation since 1881. Don't let the age fool you because this place has been completely renovated all while preserving it's history. In fact construction was just completed a week prior to my stay. My room was very charming and cozy. I am typically a light sleeper but I slept great during my two night stay. They are in the process of building a Taphouse as well which is located directly in front of the hotel. I can't wait to try it the next time I am in town. The front desk gal was super friendly and accommodating when I asked for extra towels. As I was checking out, a woman approached and asked me about my stay, to which I pretty much gave a verbal review of my room and how friendly the staff was, she let me know she (and her husband) were the owners and thanked me for my stay. I could tell by our conversation just how much she loved her community. You just don't get that at the bigger chain hotels.(SN: I took a picture of my room but having trouble uploading. I'll keep trying!)”
