Blue Agave Restaurant and Lounge

We LOVE mexican food and have tried many different places for great Mexican food. I am so highly impressed with blue agave! Insanely awesome margaritas (organic), best guacamole ive ever had (even compared to guac ive had in Mexico), salsa was incredible with the perfect amount of spice too! We ate so many appetizers and dips we couldn't do an entree but my god! , as insane as those few things we had were, i am crazy excited to try more! Talked with one of the owners as well who was delightful! He told us we are now "part of the family" and was so welcoming and kind! I cant wait to come back!!!

Very good food and excellent service. I would like them to bottle and sell the sauce they provide for their tacos. A++

The atmosphere is really nice. Double decker layout that turns into a club like area later at night. The food was some the best Mexican I've had in Madison and the drinks were solid. Unfortunately, seating took 2 hours since they were busy.

We visited Blue Agave on a Saturday night for dinner. We were blown away! We ordered a tequila flight and drinks right away. Esteban was helpful with tequila and food suggestions. We also ordered table side guacamole and entrees. Everything that came was delicious! Esteban was super personable talking to us about different tequilas and distilleries and even brought us a sample of a new tequila after our meal. Excellent food, even better service! We will be back!

Amazing food with generous portions and quality ingredients. I love the interior design; it's very clean and the walls reminded me of buildings in Mexico. ????????
It's downtown but it was very easy to find close parking. They have jumbo Margaritas, which are actually jumbo--about 32oz and I hear they are delicious. Large, pretty bar as well.
