“My wife and I had brunch here every day we were in Door County. As a result, we tasted most of the things on the menu. There wasn't anything we didn't like. The food and portions were very tasty and good, respectively; the staff was very nice, friendly and accommodating. My wife really enjoyed the desserts and other people did too, as many times they were sold out. The outdoor patio (mostly shaded by umbrellas or trees) was very enjoyable: one can see a lot of interesting "traffic" go in and out of Peninsula state park as well as some very cute and well behaved pets.”

“Adorable. We sat up along the outer wall and watched the bustle below. The bartender was so sweet and accommodating. He went above and beyond as we didn't have food service since we were alongside bar. He basically waited on us. I had a spritz, we tried the Brussel sprouts and asparagus as an app and I ordered gnocchi with whitefish. Hubby had a steak. So delicious. Very rich gnocchi sauce. Get the bread service and dip! Sat and enjoyed tea and cake afterward. Nice experience. I'd go back again in a heartbeat.”

“We had Googled "Fall Festivals in Door County" to find something fun for our week's vacation. We saw an advertisement for the Fall Festival here at the Cherry Hut. When we stepped in, we were pleasantly surprised!! The interior of the building was immaculate and the displays all were very inviting. The variety of items on display were similar to other Door County shops, but the set-up made browsing more appealing. All our staff interactions were first rate, with special shout-outs to Dawn, Sue, Steve and owner, Trent. One thing we find appealing about shopping in DC is that the different markets seem to universally support each other in selling what might seem to be a competitors goods. This great little shop was no exception. We saw items from several different area farms and producers. We ended up purchasing some DC brews and cheese. We will definitely be back!!”

“My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Whistling Swan Inn to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. It was a quiet & comfortable inn, with a delicious complimentary, freshly made breakfast every morning. The staff members at the Whistling Swan are also accommodating, friendly, and helpful. They stored our cake topper in their freezer until ready for my husband and I to eat! Lastly, the Whistling Swan Inn is in a great location. Located directly across Founders Square in Fish Creek and walking distance to almost everything in Fish Creek. We definitely recommend staying at the Whistling Swan Inn when you visit Door County!”

“Very good fish boil. Owner who boils the fish provides an informative commentary as he goes about his work, and is always ready to answer questions. Tasty, small piece of cherry pie comes with the fish boil. Acceptable seating indoors or outside. Building is OK, but hasn't been renovated or updated in ages.”

“I will have to give this place 5 stars. We it was our first time here and it was great place to stop and have Sunday lunch. The staff was so courteous and professional. We sat upstairs and they had a piano player playing music ( great sense of humor the man had). The service was fast and the food was delicious. We will certainly come back and see what I Friday or Saturday night looks like.”

“My husband and I had dinner tonight at Barringer's and it was a great experience. The shrimp cocktail appetizer was excellent- we haven't had shrimp that tasty since Key West. And our main courses - crab cakes and cod - were both filling and flavorful. That's particularly important for cod, since the fish itself is somewhat bland. Good service and good atmosphere. Not inexpensive, but worth a splurge.”

“Definitely a top ice cream option in Fish Creek. The number of flavor and topping options is huge. You create just about whatever flavor you want. The custard is creamy and delicious, and with the portion sizes, you are definitely getting your money’s worth! Even when they’re busy, the wait is typically not too long. “Located a level higher than the street below, delicious food with accommodating staff. The here is on the pricier side, but also very delicious. That staff was very attentive and courteous. (Shout out to our waiter Luis!) My wife and I went with the Bang Bang Chicken and Red Chile Beef. We found both dishes to be spicy, the chicken much more so than the beef, but not so much that it over-powered the flavor. For dessert, we split a Banana Foster's Crepe. I found it to be a very nice location for a date-night with your significant other.”

“Loved eating here last month! Had to wait a bit to be seated but they were friendly and responsive and the buzzer allowed us to wander in the nearby area. The food was AMAZING. Just one burger on the menu but it was SO GOOD and husband's chicken salad sandwich was delicious too. Prices matched the quality of the food and the location right in Fish Creek on 42. Covered patio was lovely and they allowed our dog to sit with us. Great experience!”

“The Beef Wellington special is fantastic. Hopefully you are there on a night when we have it. If you are looking for something more upscale in Door County this is a lovely place. The interior decor reminds me of a comfy old school supper club with a nice outdoor area they added a few years back. We had a large enough group that we qualified for the free lobster tail special which was a nice bonus. Glad to see this place maintains its quality for the many, many years we have gone here.”
