“Breakfast is where it's at here. Very good and the service is good. I tried the mostaccioli and you would think a place called Leonardo's Italian Bistro would have fresh, not frozen meatballs and they could come up with something better than a burned bread stick. The pasts with the sauce was really good but the meatballs were disgusting little frozen meatballs and i pushed them off to the side of my plate. Gross”

“This place is great but be warned, it is not a Milwaukee bar. If you do stop in be ready to slow down and relax. The staff is the best and can be very friendly but you must understand that it is a smaller place so you need to wait your turn for service. Once you realize that you can move on to ordering some great food. Number one pick is the burgers which are hand pattied and have a special seasoning that will keep you coming back. Next is steak Wednesday where the chef cooks right at the bar and creates a unique steak / potato combination each week (check the photos). Monday is pizza night, two dollars Tuesdays with a special burger of the week, and fish on Friday. Just stop in and see it for yourself.”

“Just held a wedding here it was perfect! Guests constantly complimented the venue, food. We had ceremony outside and setup was perfect! Guests moved inside after and were met by staff with drinks and food in hand. Perfect timing, elegant setting, servers were friendly and efficient. Planning experience was great, no hard sell just options. RS doesn’t nickel and dime you for every table and fork like many venues, pricing is pretty inclusive and their linens, tableware, and furniture is top notch. Beautiful place, setting, and staff is awesome. Highly recommend !”

“We ordered take out last night, and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered a shrimp taco salad that was very good, as were the tacos. Hubs had shrimp and lobster enchiladas and loved them. The salsa and guacamole were so good!! The only issue we had was we ordered two burgers, because yes, were those people with those kids. We get home- no burgers. Come to find out, they don’t even sell them but didn’t tell us. They did give us some free tacos which my kids enjoyed. All in all I think it’s a great addition to Jefferson which sorely lacks good food.”

“I thoroughly enjoy the food at bamboo kitchen. It's always hot and fresh. The only complaint I have is when I order sesame chicken and ask for an order of white rice they always forget it. So that's kind of a bummer, I'm not one to complain about it. It's one of the few places in town that serves crab rangoon so that's a plus. I'd give it a solid 5 if they remembered my rice.”

“What a fantastic diner! The food is consistently great and the service is always the kind of friendly hometown care that you would expect in a place like Cambridge. The owner is the chef and it’s clear that not only does he know his stuff in the kitchen, but that he genuinely cares about his patrons and his staff. It’s obvious by the great atmosphere and the quality of the food! They do a great lunch so be sure to try it too, but I recommend breakfast. Best flat top hash browns around (with onions of course), perfectly basted eggs and GREAT bacon. Not sure what brand they serve but it’s not your average, cardboard placeholder for bacon that so many places serve. Cambridge is just 20 minutes from Madison and it’s well worth the drive for this diner! Make it a breakfast or lunch destination. You’ll be glad you did. Keep up the great work Lake Ripley Family Restaurant!”

We frequent the place on Sunday for what we call a Sunday Funday the bartenders are always cheerful the wait staff is very helpful and seem to really enjoy their job which is great to see!! This bar is very large with lots of Taxidermy for people do enjoy. It can get busy but you can bring the whole family here for an awesome breakfast!!”
