“Just had their Fatty Patty Burger and seasonal fries on the side and their burger is well worth the price! The location is in a decent area the employees are nice and friendly, and helpful. The buns were drenched in delicious butter and everything is made to order. Although, I didn’t eat it until a little bit later the burger was still warm and crispy.”

“I had the salmon croquettes with rice, grits, eggs, toast and a red lemonade. The food was delicious. Cooked very well. Salmon was from the can, not fresh but still very tasty. I enjoyed it very much and would return! Great prices and service also.”

“The staff was very nice, food was delicious and there was a good variety to choose from. Unfortunately the menu in the establishment is written on a white board that doesn't list the prices, so check online before ordering. The chicken egusi with fufu was my top pick and it didn't disappoint. Packed full of flavor and extremely tender chicken, it'll make your mouth water. Curry goat was a winner too. It simply slid right off of the bone and into my mouth. Don't get me started on those plantains too. Everything was cooked to perfection. Make sure you purchase the lemonade and tea. Both are quite refreshing!”

“As part of my tour business, Fun Beer Tours Milwaukee, I brought a group of 18 people in on a Saturday afternoon. One of the owners greeted us while the server quickly made sure that every patron had a menu in hand. The group had an array of craft beer, hard seltzers, mixed cocktails, & food items. The options for beer & seltzers are among the top tier that one will find in the downtown area. The overall service was extremely attentive as the owner himself checked in on the group multiple times. Being the end spot for the outing, I then stayed myself for a bloody & a tasty meatball sandwich. I will definitely return to have both again. All in all, a great experience & everyone left very happy.”

“I really enjoyed the 2 sandwiches, honey pie latte, and London fog latte! But the 35-40 min wait was a kind of long considering there was one other customer there. The guy working the register seemed really new and confused so it slowed the other woman down.”

“We’re so happy to have this in walking distance of our home. We plan on coming here lots! Very comfortable atmosphere with tons of food and beverage options. Make sure to check out the downstairs shops! I presume they’ll add some sort of signage to draw people to the stairs since it’s not very obvious right now that there is more downstairs.”

“Good food and good beer. What more could you ask for!? There is plenty of seating here, so bring your friends AND your family! Loved hanging out at this place on a rainy Tues. The beer tender gave great suggestions which only made the hot honey wings taste even better. If you like the place and want to rep it, check out their swag.”

“When your $17-18 rice bowl could probably fit on your little paper napkin. 😬 Three pieces of meat each in our pork belly bowl and Korean short rib bowl. Overall, they tasted pretty good but there was nothing Korean about the plain grilled short rib. Not kalbi, if that's what you hoped for from the description. And the portion sizes for the price were pretty surprisingly small (cereal-bowl sized).”

“Delicious authentic Mexican food served up quick. They took the truck and turned it into a taquiera! The newly renovated brick & mortar location is small but efficient. A little more parking would be ideal but the location is great overall. Glad to see it open.”

“Small place. Workers are very friendly. I had a Philly cheesesteak and it was very good. Lots of meat, good value. Not the best seating if you are plus size. I'll be back and may try eating at the counter or get it to go.”

“It was my first Time back to here since Art Altenburg owned the bar. The last Time that I was there was with my Mother Mary, my Uncle Paul, my Sister Christine, and my Auntie Jackie in December 2000 for Art's Christmas party. My Dziadzia Sigmunt "Zigmund" Alexander Suchorski used to play Concertina with Art back when he owned the bar. I don't know what took me so long to come back there. I am Happy that I did though because I finally got to meet Andy Kochanski. It was like a trip down Memory lane when I walked back into The Concertina Bar. I like the outdoor patio too that Andy put in there. I met a couple of people who might be able to find me a music teacher so that I can learn how to play Concertina so that I can Honor my Busia and Dziadzia. I tried some Green soda there which was pretty Good. I don't drink when I am out on my motorcycle which is why I had some soda. Overall, I am definitely going to have to come back there to Kochanski's Concertina Bar, especially on Wednesdays to listen to the Polka Bands that play there. Everybody who knows me, knows that I am really big into my Heritage with my being a 3rd Generation American Citizen with Polish, Jewish, German, Russian, Prussian, French, Canadian, and Ukrainian Ancestry. I liked seeing The Polish Flag and The German Flag up on the wall there. I liked the Bugs Bunny cartoons that were on the television there too. It's my kind of place. I look forward to stopping there again. Thank You to Andy and everybody else there that I met Respectfully, Joseph Alexander Suchorski "The Polish Panther" 🇺🇲 🇵🇱 🇮🇱 🇩🇪 🇷🇺 🇫🇷 🇨🇦 🇺🇦”
