“This was our favorite place in Bayfield! It’s right off of the docks/bay for convenience if you’re just stopping in quick. They had sandwiches, a few groceries, drinks, etc. The breakfast panini was so good and made to order. Also much cheaper than anywhere else in town. The employees were really friendly. They’re closed on Wednesdays and open morning to afternoon other days. There are no tables inside, but there’s 3 on the side and 2 in front for outdoor seating. The inside is cute and has Lake Superior charm. It seems like a newer addition to Bayfield, so check it out!”

“First post pandemic visit. My husband is very particular about how his steak is prepared. He said it was one of the best ever. Prepandemic we enjoyed visiting and referred several people. Food is always excellent. Protip-make a reservation for a window table. Best view in Bayfield! Restaurant only operates seasonly and is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Bartender, waitstaff, hostess, chef and manager all excellent.”

“You know those hidden gem's where the locals go? This is one of them. Out in the country there's a little bar and grille...the fried mushrooms are delicious. I could eat a basket of those and be fine, but go with friends to share them and leave room for the Friday night's special Tenderloin Tips. They come cooked to order with mushrooms and bacon. I hear they used to be cooked together with the bacon vs it added at the end, which is probably the only way to make them better. The Old Fashion, sweet, won't disappoint either. Take your time, visit and enjoy yourself. This isn't a city spot to be rushed in and out of. Thankful my friends showed me this place 💕”

“Went there for lunch. Stopped by the local sloop cafe today for lunch, but they had the back room closed off for some reason. But one of the people suggested we go to Funte's. Good call. Server was great , lunch was great. Had a burger, and was not over seasoned and was great. Prices are very fair. We were talked to and treated like we were welcomed there. Not snipped at or ignored. Asked if we'd be welcomed to start having our lunch get togethers here. And was meet with a healthy sure your welcome to have lunch here any time. Heard they have great pizza too. So look forward to trying it some day soon.”

“Ordered an Orange Dreamsicle smoothie and it was like drinking a solid banana through a straw-complete with the brown stringy bits. If I liked banana maybe that would be so bad, but I loathe it! There was absolutely no orange flavor. I asked a friend to guess what it was supposed to be and his best guess was "cardboard". For $10.50 ($9 plus tip) that's not what you want. Won't be going back. Update: Changed star rating due to positive response from owner. I'm still not going back, but I appreciate the explanation and offer to make it up to me.”

The chili dogs tasted great and the two gentlemen who own the place were super friendly and energetic and one even brought my order to my car across the street (parking lot was full). “Overall, it is a bit underwhelming for the price. We've had better food at their other locations. Their sauces definitely make the business. The grilled chicken wrap was cold even after eating it right away. There was not enough chicken inside it to keep it warm, half the wrap was just lettuce and tomatoes, and it fell apart while eating it. I would recommend the traditional wings instead. The atmosphere is very simple. There are only a couple tables to sit and the restaurant is clearly meant for take out orders. Service was fine, but you can tell they are still learning the POS machine and we witnessed a few orders ahead of us missing items, etc. All things that will hopefully improve for them with time. We'll still come back to try the other food options, but not right away.”
