“This morning my Mother and I went for a coffee at the MacDonalds on Innes Rd. in Orleans and we had a lovely experience. The young lady that took out on the machine was very pleasant and sweet but the young gentleman that took our money and gave us our order at the window was amazing. It was 6:20am and he was just so friendly and pleasant, he stated our exact order right down to how many butter were in the bag for our muffin. Now a days I find many people like to state the negative experience they have and not the positive as much but today this young man made our day, we want to thank you and we hope that you are recognized for being an amazing employee. Great job.”

I don’t usually eat store bought desserts anymore but my sister kept mentioning about a wonderful shop she found which sold vegan desserts. I finally got the opportunity to try one and absolutely enjoyed it. I’m already looking to another opportunity.”

“Really enjoyed my lunch there the other day. The staff were very friendly and helpful to me and other patrons. It is more of a self serve type cafe however I noticed the young waitress helping a lady in a moterized wheel chair, she even knew her coffee order. That is the kind of kindness we need more of in this world. I believe the energy we put out is what we get back and we all need to be nicer to each other. I have never had a bad experience with any of the staff there and I would 10/10 recommend.”

“This coffee shop is super cute on the inside, and is in a great location to get a coffee or an ice cream before or after you go to the lake. I didn't love their coffee, and the iced chai I had was basically all foam for $5, so I wouldn't specifically come here for their drinks.”

“Really, really great little shop. Definitely have some of the best ice cream flavours in town. I've yet to try their food but have been for ice cream at least 2 dozen times. The owner is a real top notch guy as well. The place also has a great retro look, if you haven't been you gotta try it!”

“Definitely a good experience, we showed up with a half hour to close and still got the full treatment. Stayed past close and was never asked to hurry or anything of the sort, they just did their thing while we finished up. Had the cheesecake crepe, not so much cheesecake, more like light cream cheese and fruit. A little deceiving but still really delicious, and light. Perfect mix of cheese to fruit to honey. The crepe itself was fresh, warm, and perfectly done. The latte was great, they use great beans. The place has a cozy feel to it. The service was quick and friendly. No issues to speak of. Why 4 stars and not 5? I just didn't get that "wow" feel, but definitely nothing negative to report. Will be back to see what the other crepes are like, as well as the other tasty goodies they had.”

“I have to say that this is the best brunch I have ever had in my life. Great ambience, very cozy and warm. They serve you an entire jar of coffee, not like usual brunch place. I was so happy that their sausage was not regular morning sausages. It was the best! Also ham was pretty amazing too. My bf ordered their make your own wrap thing, it was the best wrap I’ve ever had... We had to wait for a Monday noon, but it was worth it. In fact, it’s worth the 2 hours drive from Montreal to this place lol. It’s a bit pricey compared to other chains but it’s THE BEST!”

“Fuse Fest a nice time to try them! They had a purple $6 smoothie on special, and free sample mini cups. Also samples of their protein balls - I tried a blonde one with hemp that was pleasant. Normally their smoothies are $9. The purple one was vegan, with hemp, nut milk, banana and blueberry. I think, if I had taken a picture of the sign could have listed the ingredients accurately. But very refreshing. Usually I give 4* for tasty but 5* for exquisite. I would eat here again, and go for items that have my fave ingredients. Cheers to Fuse Fest!!”

“As a avid dairy lover I don’t fly with the taste of the icings. They’re just way too sweet and missing that signature cream cheese taste but they aren’t bad for being vegan. The buns though are delicious and I’m very impressed. One suggestion would be to carry more tea flavours, I ended up walking somewhere else to grab a hot drink. Service was excellent. Also I personally found the cookie dough really salty, maybe it was personal preference.”

“Bringing a friend home from a 12 day stay in hospital. Stopped to get a snack since we expected to be gone at noon and it was now 4:30 with no food since supper the night before. I got the chicken meal, friend got a double cheeseburger meal. It ended up our supper. Tasty and enjoyable. We had a much better evening with a full tummy.”
