“We went after the lunch rush on Sunday and had a wonderful experience! Ashley, the manager, was extremely helpful in helping us decide on drinks as well as telling us about the backstory of their special spice blend. All of the food and drinks were really good! Personal favorite was the Korean corn dog. I loved the alternating cheese and sausage chunks as well as the Chinese mustard. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back. “Reasonably priced donuts compared to the ones sold by a chain and they aren’t affected by shrinkflation. Good variety of donuts to choose from and they’re really fresh and filling. If you’re lucky enough, you get coupons in the mail too. Parking can be a bit right in the morning when most folks want fresh donuts.”

“Start off by saying the 2 male staff members provided excellent customer service on Saturday. Patient, kind, welcoming. We tried buffalo chicken mac, parmesan chicken mac, classic grilled cheese and buffalo bites. Mac and cheese was traditional. Classic grill cheese was traditional. The buffalo bites were not appetizing, dry. Tater tots were traditional. It would be great if they had seasoning and/or loaded with hot melted cheese. If I had to recommend something it would be what they are known for, the macaroni. Thanks for great customer service.”

I got the apple turnover even though I thought the price was high but we opened the box and it’s huge. Big enough for 2 people. It was full of apples and was sweet and gooey, I ate less pizza that usual so I could eat it. Like others have said the 1 star review from the moron is probably a fake review from a competitor”

“Super friendly and accommodating staff! A special shoutout to Alex for really turning my whole experience around. After calling the restaurant earlier and being misinformed that the location had curbside pickup prior to me placing my order online, I unknowingly arrived with my dog in the car and don’t feel comfortable leaving my car in that situation, if only for a few minutes. I was told they do not have curbside at this time but hope to in the future (not what I was told when I called hours earlier). Alex was wonderful and not only hand-delivered my order to my car, but she went above and beyond to make things right and alleviate my stress and confusion in this situation. She said they try to accommodate their customers to the best of their ability, and I truly saw that. I plan to return to this location in the future because of her and her great service. (Also, my meal was great!)”

“It's rare when you encounter great service, good food, and follow up to an order. The Birria Tacos were 4 stars by itself. The crispiness of the tortilla, the meat was tender along with cilantro and onion. Be sure to add some lime and sauce. The red sauce is spicy and the green is a milder level of heat. Either sauce you choose, will add the heat level to your taco. The consome (soup), brings the taco to another level and for the case of ratings to five stars. Its adds a savory pack of flavor. Adding squirts of lime juice to the consome added a citrus tone to the savory soup. We tried both w/cheese and without. As for flavor, it did not add or take away from the savory flavors of the Birria Taco. The price of the Birria taco was $4. If you buy 2 or more tacos the consome is included. If you love tacos this is the spot to get your fill. The tacos are just as affordable as a fast food meal but tastier with fresh ingredients. Just a tip, bring cash, there's a fee for card users.”

“I am going to just declare that this is probably the best Thai place in Hoover. They have the same owners as a popular spot I don't frequent as much due to distance. I am very picky about my Thai food and will not even try places that are rated below a certain point. The food was fresh and tasty. The portion size was great. The host was very pleasant and took pride in their restaurant. The ambience in the restaurant and even where it is located is perfect. It is like a semi-hidden gem. If you love Thai, check them out. You won't be disappointed. I look forward to dining in instead of takeout next time to just enjoy the atmosphere.”

“Go and give it a try. 8/4/22 they are still in their opening phase offering only a reduced menu, at least for lunch. The friendly waitress did not lose a step when I mentioned that I am a vegetarian but offered a rice, bean and cabbage plate. I paired the recommendation with a Jamaican ginger ale and asked for a hot sauce. The rice & beans as well as the cabbage & carrots were cleanly cooked and gently seasoned. The satisfying meal came in at a modest $6 but I am happy to pay more for vegetarian options with bolder flavors and more interesting ingredients. We'll see if they get a 5 star at my next visit.”
