“Even with the snow/ice we got yesterday and today, Sonic was open. Talk about dedication, on Saturday there were only 2 employees were able to make it into work and they did a great job! Very pleasant at the drive thru and managed to stay calm and still get the job done! I'm not sure who was in the back cooking but, Kyla was at the drive thru. Great Job! Employees like this should be recognized and rewarded!!!!”

“I highly recommend bowl. if you enjoy whole, healthy foods! Their ingredients are quality and fresh and the dressings are delicious. The kale bowl is my favorite - and it is HUGE! When we moved back to Birmingham over the summer, I was worried we would not have fast, healthy food options that we were used to in Charleston and D.C. Bowl. has filled a void in the Birmingham food scene. I also appreciate that they have their own free delivery service and you do not have to go through an app. It is faster, better service than UberEats etc. and I would rather spend my money directly at local restaurants rather than having a company in silicon valley take a cut. We will definitely keep ordering bowl. regularly and feel good about it because it is so healthy! Update: They removed the Kale Bowl from the menu.”

“The food was absolutely fabulous. We were only able to order appetizers even though we planned on having dinner. Apparently, reservations were only allotted a certain amount of time and we were politely told we only had 35 min to order and eat before the next group was to arrive. I absolutely understand reservations but have never encountered this in an upscale restaurant. Take out would have been.a better choice. Maybe consider a timer on the table.”

“No half-star selections but I'm really giving Maple street a 2.5 or so. Not because it was bad, it just wasn't good. Service was great, Hot Maple Vanilla Bean Latte was really good as well. Greatness stopped there for me, during my recent visit. Duped again by Birmingham's hype of new place to eat. One could argue, "surely you ordered the wrong thing". Well, what would be the good items? Between my wife and I, we had 'The Farmer', 'The Five', 'Three Layer Cake' and a side of grits. Apple Butter of 'The Farmer' was tasty, and so was the sausage gravy found on 'The Five'. The rest just left much to be desired for some reason. The fried chicken tasted... just like fried chicken. Chicken + flour, done. Cooked well but didn't taste like anything at all. The grits are described as "Stone-ground white hominy grits, cut with cream cheese & butter". Cream cheese and butter? Where? Also flavorless. Certainly at least a few of these 5-star reviews came from someone who was born and raised in the south right?! Oh yeah... the biscuits. They're fine. Again, we didn't find it to be bad, just not good. Great service and good coffee gets the rounding up to 3 stars.”

“Great restaurant! I was warmly greeted and handed a menu while I waited in line. They have a wonderful selections of options and all are healthy and reasonably priced. The staff were working speedily to get orders filled during the dinner rush hour. The restaurant was packed when I got there and I could see online orders were also piling up. Nevertheless, each team member was courteous and hardworking and did their very best to be as quick as possible and kind. Even with a packed restaurant I got my meal in great time. I will definitely go back! And my salad was amazing!”
