“I watched the Bar Rescue episode a few weeks back and was anxious to visit the revamped bar. So, several friends and I went today for lunch, and we loved it! The atmosphere and ambiance are terrific, with a warm and welcoming environment. The food was delicious and the drinks perfect! I shared a veggie pizza and cheese curd appetizer with my friend - so yummy! The staff is efficient, helpful and friendly - Christine and John were great! Bar owners Cathy and Paul were onsite when we visited; they’re extremely hospitable and very nice as well. Do check it out - you won’t be disappointed!! Highly recommended! 5 Stars - 6 if I could!”

“This was the second attempt made at eating here, the first time our name was forgotten and we waited an hour to sit inside only to be seated right next to outside which was just as hot..........but............this second attempt was a success! The food was excellent and service was quick and friendly! Plenty of tvs all around so you don't miss whatever you're trying to watch they're even tvs on the walls in the bathrooms. Tried the PBBJ burger and a plate of original 'Tot chos'. Both were very good! The burger was a tad messy but tasted great the chipotle honey is amazing. Burger was cooked perfectly! Definitely will come back again. Update for my 3rd visit: Came with a work group. Katelyn provided us excellent service and the food was very good. I tried the lineman burger and it was good but to me more of a novelty menu item. I would try something else next time but it was worth tasting and still a very good burger. Otherwise this visit was excellent. We came on a Friday about noon and it was not busy and the seating on the patio was nice with the heaters on.”

“Sat down for a meal at this place around 4pm. Only ones dining which made me wonder. A few people at bar. Bartender was our waiter, double duty apparently.. the menus provided were printed on black & white paper, yet a sandwich, pastrami was $22, ouch! Ordered the meatballs (4) for $14, ouch! Atmosphere was non eventful, somewhat contemporary, lacking a theme in my opine. Waited about 20 minutes for a sandwich and meatballs, not acceptable, not like we ordered pizza. Pastrami sandwich was marginal at best, lacking in meat content and even fillers. Taste was okay, but not at a $22 level. Fries were fresh and standard. Meatballs were a bit bland for the cost. Ratings are low compared to the mother store in Scottsdale. Kind of a GenX vibe to me but seeking an identity.. I can’t recommend this place. Maybe in time this place will improve but for now a no go.”

“We had dinner here at about 5 pm last Wednesday. The restaurant was not crowded, but they acted like we had to sit at the worst little table near the front door. We insisted that they move us into the main seating area. (Plenty of room there. ) I ordered a glass of Chardonnay and the meatloaf dinner. The wine arrived at room temperature and the meatloaf was also near room temperature. The garlic mashed potatoes were hot in spots and cold in other spots. I assume they were heated in a microwave without a working turntable. The waitress was very pleasant and did a very good job. In the future, we may go back for breakfast or lunch, but not for dinner.”

“My wife and I came to try out one of the newest restaurants that just opened on Signal Butte and Hampton and I can say that neither of us were disappointed. I got the Al pastor burrito and it was good no complaints here. My wife got the loaded potato which is called the Crazy Potato ( La Papa Loca) and there was no complaints there either. The salsa bar was great and it had different kinds of salsas. The atmosphere was great, and we would definitely come back to try the rest of the menu. Oh they also have a family deal which is one of the things I miss when I lived in Buckeye. So good job guys keep up the good work.”

“Came in for the soft opening of this location and was greeted by the hostess. Our reservation was lost but they seated us promptly with the mixed up. Our server was Evan and he was very friendly and prompt with service. The food was absolutely delicious and will definitely be going back. We prefer to do the all you can eat sushi but that wasn’t available for the soft opening, however, food was delicious. Highly recommend this place”

“I got a bag of the regular pretzel bits & a bag of the cinnamon & sugar bits. They weren't that great & they were even less great the time before this visit. The pretzels were over cooked & dry. Not enough butter on them. I like to eat the leftovers the next day, but not this batch. Even after I warmed them up a little bit, they just weren't very good. The staff are definitely working hard, but it seems like there are issues with consistency. Maybe more training for everyone or spot checks by the owner. I think somebody should be checking the quality of the food they are putting out. And I wouldn't be coming down on the teenage kids that are working for you. I think they are doing their best. Whomever is in charge here though, must have chosen to ignore their reviews. They arent great. It wouldn't take much though & you could be Awesome! Keep at it. 🙂”

“We stopped in for Lunch and seated immediately. Upon entry there was 5 hostess. . . After being seated it took a fair amount of time to see someone to order. The chips and salsa served was ok. Chips had not been cooked and chewy not crunchy. Never asked if we wanted other drinks, just received water. After waiting for someone to take out order we asked for Guacamole and it never came. The food was mediocre at best, smaller portions and food was not very hot upon arriving at our table. Getting the bill noticed the guacamole was added but never received at our table. . . Not sure my wife, Son and I will be back soon.”

“First time trying Portillos. You should have an idea of what you want before you get there. After we sat down I seen sign about getting a combo. You walk in and there is a line to order. The staff is really nice. It was pretty busy. Very clean, employees were cleaning tables as soon as people were leaving them. I got the Maxwell polish dog, it was a little charred I definitely needed more mustard. The onion rings were amazing!! My hunny got a jumbo Chicago dog, which the regular must be tiny! He also said needed more mustard and onion. We thought he got a regular it didn't seem jumbo. Limited time only chocolate covered strawberry shake was very good!!! The atmosphere is loud, more like a sports bar,they do serve alcohol. Lots of things to look at. Also there is outdoor seating. There is a lot going on in this place. There is a separate ordering area for catering too.”
