“This place has had a long wait recently, but I believe it's because the Union City location is remodeling. We've had a bit of a wait, but the service has always been awesome! The wait definitely won't drive us away. They're always coming up with new flavors and they're always worth a try.”

“Great service and superior food! Bit of a language barrier but it was fine. Burritos are the best I've had in Northern California :) Ordered the chicken and seafood fajita burritos and they were par excellent - seasoning was on point and cooked just right. Small dining area but people moved in and out quickly on a Saturday afternoon so it wasn't a problem. Total recommended!”

“Super yummy pretzels with a small selection of flavors but just big enough that it keeps the business simple but sure to have a flavor you can call your own. The business is super straight forward and the pretzels taste amazing. Definitely a difference between a fresh pretzel and one that sits under a heat lamp so when forced to wait a few minutes because my flavor is not ready to go... this is a plus and not a problem. I recommend the butter almond... or is that sugar almond? Whatever. Try the flavor with the word Almond in it. You won't regret it. Oh, and make it the nuggets. More surface area means more flavor in every bite, and go pretzel when you want more soft insides.”

“The breads here are great; a lot of variety. I I have also tried the chocolate, strawberry, and mango cakes. I personally do not like the cakes since they taste artificially flavored. For instance, the chocolate was a lighter brown color and lacked a strong rich chocolate flavor.”

“Had a great experience here on a Sunday morning around 10 AM. Got a warmed up almond croissant that was lovely, and a quality cup of coffee to go with it. I also see that they have handmade baguettes for sale, which can be tough to find. Will be back for the handmade bread when I have some cheese at home to go with it!”

“I got a few projects that makes me drive past here and it's always Easy stop to make. Right off the highway 13 and easy on ramp. Parking is always plentiful. Only downside to being so good is that the line can be long in the morning. But I never had a problem picking up my large order on time here.”

“Plenty. As in plenty of delicious food. I’m a generally healthy eater and this spot does not disappoint for healthy lunch options. Great bowls and salads. Meat or veggie. Cap it all off with a neighborhood feel and reliable warm smiles from the staff.”

“Fresh items with great quality! Friendly staff that get you on the way when you're in a rush. Cookies are so good and oozy. I love their variety of salads and sandwiches. The only sad part is they close at 5 on the dot.”

“I really enjoyed the food here, but the service could use a bit of work. This review is for their older location (right by the lake). Now, their newer location is up and running right across from my clinic! On Lakeshore Ave. Will give it a try as well.”

“Always busy. Favorite bakery in Oakland. Favorites include: daily Vegetarian pizza, special cheese roll, cinnamon roll with frosting, cinnamon and sugar morning bun, currant scone, peanut butter cookie, blueberry muffin… you really can’t go wrong here! Tight space, so tables and chairs are always in demand. Fortunately you can always sit by the lake if you can’t find a seat at the cafe. I recommend parking by Trader Joe's where there's 2 hour free parking, because parking is hard to come by.”

“Noah's is a pretty solid place for a breakfast or even lunch - I really like their bagel sandwiches. Specifically, I go for the 'Farmhouse' with 2 eggs - a very hearty 3-cheese bagel sandwich with pepper smear, bacon, ham (which I sub out for turkey), and cheddar cheese. Check it out!”

“Crossroads has its good days and its bad days. They try to have vegetarian options daily, but often I end up eating their same old lentil soup for the protein and cereal – breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I mix things up on occasion by changing what cereal I get. Don't go on the days before school lets out. That's when they slack the most, serving leftover seafood from the celebratory Christmas meal that was mediocre at best even when it was first served. The tater tots are nice and crispy and ADDICTING. Overall 3/5 because crossroads has the most variety of cereal out of most of the other Berkeley dining halls.”

“A great coffee shop, good brew and quick service. It's attached to the grocery store, but it opens earlier, and you can get in through the side entrance. Their coffee and espresso drinks are very good, the only downside is their pastries and baked goods are just OK. However, there is a bakery at the back of the grocery store that has excellent pastries; unfortunately the grocery store doesn't open til 8am. I wish Beanery could work out a deal to get pastries from that bakery, but I'm sure they've tried and there is some complication preventing it. For coffee however, it's definitely the best place I've found in Alameda.”

“The best scones ever! They are so buttery and delicious and fresh! I bought some to bring the hubby and he loved them too. Breakfast plates were amazing too but we all know we're really here for the scones. ????”

“A hidden gem in Berkeley. Chef Paul actually works in his kitchen. A lot of "chefs" with big names in the Bay Area don't work in their kitchens and they're not cooking the food. Chef Paul is involved in every aspect of his kitchen and services. The menu top to bottom is delicious and I've witnessed Chef Paul and his staff preparing most if not all of what's on the menu. Summer Kitchen isn't just a cute name, it's an idea Chef Paul takes seriously, but not too seriously, and he's a pleasure to be around.”

“Very speedy service on a weekday morning around 9. Less than ten minutes from ordering to receiving food. Food itself was okay. Tasty enough, but a little bland. Adding salt and pepper helped.”

“I'm a new vegetarian excited to explore the world of meat substitutes, so I got the Chick'n and Waffles, and it was everything I've ever wanted in chicken and waffles! The waffle was rich and fluffy, and the Chick'n was juicy like the best cuts of dark meat, with perfect, crispy batter. Great coffee too! And out of this world donuts! If you want a great take-your-time, sit-down meal, there's basically no reason not to eat here!!”

“Bread is great. Baked goods are a bit lacking. Hard to make a gluten free bagel. They are more like tough discs. The double chocolate cookies are awesome. The staff are stuck up and extremely pretentious. Prices are off the wall expensive for baked goods.”
