“I was by myself so I only had 2 dishes. Dad's beef noodle was a bit on the bland side. It was tasty but I wish it was a bit more flavorful. And maybe it was a personal preference but it wasn't piping hot enough. It was more than lukewarm but not hot enough to burn my mouth. The Na's Chicken Salad was interesting. The chicken skin tasted almost like fried onion as you don't taste the fattiness. Lemon tea was good. I dunno if you get refills. All in all good food, excellent service, and beautiful decor. the serving sizes are on the small side and the prices are very high. I would recommend it for a special occasion.”

“Decided to give this spot a try since I’ve been craving Korean food! It’s a small shop and you can park in the “back”. It’s a parking lot and I do believe it is also their front door. They have 2 doors. Either one works so you won’t have to walk all the way around! When you sit down, they’ll give you a menu and then you order. After ordering, you get 2 side dishes. Both are delish and can get more if you ask. Sadly we couldn’t bring any home. #13- very sweet! Lots of meat! Not enough noodles in my opinion. But I did like the sweet broth. Comes with rice!”

“Finally gotten the chance to try this restaurant, however, I was disappointed. Ordered the Premium Gyukatsu, Spicy Pork Belly Don, Cheese Katsu & Cream Curry Udon. So excited when I see the food, they look so good. The best dish is the cream curry udon. The beef and pork belly are tough, very chewy, and a little hard to swallow. The meat has an aftertaste lingering in my mouth. As for the cheese katsu, way too much cheese and hardly any meat in them. Cream curry udon is the best, perfect flavor and even my son loves it. I will go back to the udon, they have other kinds that I want to try.”

“Update on 9/13/22 First time ordering my food to go and thought the transaction couldn’t have been smoother. Ordered via phone, given an ETA of 15 mins and food was ready when I arrived. Not only was the food delicious, but it was packed really well and made it home nice and warm. I liked the banchan packs too. Four delicious sides to go with my jajangmien, beef tofu and kalbi. All really good and perfectly satisfied my cravings. They even followed instructions perfectly as my GF doesn’t like green onions and they were left off of both the kalbi and tofu soup. ———— Probably closer to 4.5 stars, but will round up for the great service and free tea. Food was good, really good especially for a food court, but had sit down restaurant prices so expected a little more. Kalbi ribs had great flavors, but were a bit chewy in parts. Not bad, in fact very good, but just a fact - 4 stars Tofu soup was some of the best we’ve tried - 5 Stars Cold noodles!had a great, but strong beef broth flavor. Not what I am used to, but good. 4.5 stars Banchan - very tasty seaweed salad, potato salad, fish cake, bean sprouts and Kim chi. Non of which my GF liked or can eat. 4 stars for me, 2 stars from her :) Service, free tea and water was 5 stars Prices were fair, but seemed high for a food court, so 4 stars from me there. Overall a great experience and someplace I want to go again. The location and casual seating allowed us to take our dog and explore a little while we waited. Pro tip - food is made to order so expect to wait at least 15-20 mins. Call ahead or explore the are while you wait. There are other restaurants, a watch repair shop, boba and other little shops in the court and in the shopping center to explore while you wait.”

“Updated: Okay so to update this is the first time I’ve been served something undercooked. I ordered beef cheung fun during dim sum and notice it tasted a bit sour. I thought the meat looked odd so I opened it up and I’ve never seen the meat separate on each side of the the noodle, usually it’s one solid piece. Original review: Food is always good and is comparable in price for post pandemic times. Not sure if they are doing dim sum carts any longer, but I’m guessing at least not today or during the week. Perhaps the weekend is busier where they would have it available. I normally order take out since it’s just me eating and the wait has been variable. Sometimes it takes a while so I shop at 99 while waiting, other times it’s quick like today (10-15 mins). I always forget they offer lunch specials. Service is average for a Chinese restaurant.”

But it's only seasonal for Fall. They only get a certain amount in their shipments and they're always sold out! So lucky I scored today here in Arcadia next to Vons! BTW: Nolan (front counter) and Kameron (Barista) were super friendly and beautiful smiling faces from the time I walked in.... And I bought the last muffin to let my mom try!”

“This place has great broth for beef noodle soup. The broth tastes like my partner's mom's recipe, a significant star anise flavor. I haven't had the meat soup, only broth one. The dumplings are good, I need to try more. The appetizer variety plate is really good, although I wish the eggs had been marinated longer or something. The staff are real nice. Some staff only speak Chinese it seems. One glass of water I had had little plastic fibers in it. I didn't want to drink it but didn't want to bother getting a new glass. I asked for a canned soda instead. My partner's glad was free of fibers. Another time there was no problem with the water.”

Our family usually goes to the Pasadena location but was excited to hear another location was opening up closer to home! Food/Pricing: - Fried Hainan Chicken Rice - $12.25 - Crispy and good! - Combo A which includes half chicken, spicy cucumber salad, fried peanuts, chicken soup (medium), chicken rice (2) - $25.45 - Not bad for the price. However, as someone who looks forward to the numbing spicy of the cucumber salad, it just tasted like cucumber soaked in water . Overall, the chicken was good but not as tasty as Pasadena. As this location is much closer, we will definitely give it another try in a few months!”

“Kyoku Sushi is a great little gem in Arcadia, right in the 99¢ Store Plaza. Friend gave me a piece of the Sakura roll to try and it was heavenly. So I decided I wanted to order some for dinner. Monster roll looks light, but it packs flavor and heartiness. The scallop on top, delicious. Sapporo roll was my favorite, especially with the tuna on top. The classic Spicy Tuna roll has a nice kick which is always appreciated and melts in your mouth. The salmon roll, simple but tasty. Call ahead and order, save yourself some time from waiting to eat from Kyoku Sushi.”
