“Ordered the half chicken extra hot and solo tender mild. Got to say I loved the chicken. Nice crunch, juicy and great base flavors to both bone in and the tender. My issue is with the dry spices. The extra hot was not very hot and since only dry sauces, didn’t add much. The come back sauce is basically “1000 island”, which the cashier said exactly that and big sexy is buffalo sauce, again as cashier described them. Would have been nice if there was some uniqueness to the sauces and/or able to choose heat levels to add the needed kick. The spicy Kringle cut fries were pretty good though. The biggest issue was probably the wait time. About 30 - 40 min wait time. I assumed it was for the bone in chicken, but was told that it was for the fries which seemed a little weird, since many others got their orders before us even though they ordered after us. I guess will have to order ahead next time or do some shopping after ordering.”

“Sunday Cafe bottle Agua Frescas were a big hit at the 626 Market Mini in Santa Monica. $20 for a Large bottle, but with a free refill, it's the best drink you could get at the market. I really enjoyed my Pineapple/Coconut drink. Pretty amusing to see people's reactions to grown ups drinking out of a bottle, but they're probably just jealous of my beverage.”

“Tried this place tonight and was pleasantly surprised with how great everything was. I got the chicken rice noodle with house sauce and soup. It was flavorful in a sweet and salty way, could have been spicier but it was still wonderful. My boyfriend got the beef tomato soup with rice noodles. The broth was that perfect spice level and super yummy. We shared a plate of the fried pumpkin cakes with pumpkin and red bean filling. We liked them both but liked the pumpkin filling the most. And the inner and outer textures were perfect. We also got lime green tea and passion fruit green tea. A bit lacking in flavor but I was fine with the food. All in all we will be returning!”

“Japanese cheesecake is one of my favorite desserts because it's light, not overly sweet, and fluffy! Uncle Tetsu does that the best! I ordered the Original and Thai Tea. The Thai Tea was similar to many other places, nothing special. But the cheesecake was so good and it was not too much compared to other desserts! It's super easy to eat and I think I ate about 1/3 of it in one sitting haha”

“Came in for their grand opening. This Korean style rice hotdog are pretty tasty. Crunchy outside and juicy inside. The mozzarella was super cheesy and stretchy. Portion was huge. Staff are nice and courteous. Overall I enjoyed the hotdog and it was a good experience. I definitely will be back.”

“First things first: yes, the pot is literally made of paper. I don't know how it works, and I feared a leak the whole time, but they know what they're doing because it cooked my broth no problem. Second: you can upgrade to the 'wow platter' which is a good deal but really just adds a lot of carbs, and you will likely end up full without it. Third: the beef is good, but the pork is fantastic. Get the pork.”

“The quality of the meat is just okay for me. For the meat, it's not all you can eat. There are 2 kinds of beef and 1 kind of pork (for lunch). Each person has to pick 2 kinds of meat (can be all beef or 1 beef and 1 pork or all pork). Everything else is all you can eat and drink for the duration of 90 minutes total, which is reasonable. The curry tastes weird, not so much meat inside. The curry is not served hot enough either. The price is $17.95 for lunch per person. The server said that this price already includes tips, but not service charge, sounds weird? Right, you bet! At the end, I and my wife were charged 2 times 17.95 + 16% service charge and on top of that too, we got charged for the normal sales tax of 9.5%. We understand that we have to pay the sales tax the basic food charge, but why are they charging sales tax on the 16% service charge too? So, basically, I paid around 17.5% service charge, while the overall service was not that good..and it was a must! They responded, I paid for the service charge, but I didn't have to pay tips anymore...yeah whatever...”
