“Authentic delicious Mexican food. We came here on a Monday morning for breakfast. I order 3 tacos (1 lengua, 1 carne asada, 1 tripas). My husband and son ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon. My other son ordered the California burrito. And my friend and her daughter ordered the bean, rice and cheese burrito. We were all very happy with our food and the prices are very reasonable. The burritos are big. They have a variety of salsas to choose from. The have mild to very spicy salsa. They were all very tasty. This is definitely one of the restaurants we will be coming back to.”

“This Japanese restaurant is in Mammoth lakes. We ordered the vegetarian miso broth ramen. There are vegetarian options for sushi as well. We ordered the sweet potato sushi and the avocado sesame seed sushi. The sushi was ok. But the ramen was really good. One of our friends also ordered the tonkotsu ramen with pork belly. In his opinion the pork belly was really good. The vegetarian miso broth has a good depth of flavor. I ordered with extra mushroom and extra egg. The mushroom has a really great earthy taste. They also give the chilli paste in the side which adds really spicy kick to the ramen( if you prefer spicy).”

“My group of friends loved the beers here. While I had the seltzer, it was still very delicious. Only giving 4 stars because of the food. We order chips and guac as well as pretzel with cheese. The chips were fine but the guac was frozen? Not sure why but wasn’t a fan. The pretzel and beer cheese was pretty tasty. Will definitely give their menu another try.”

“After deciding where to grab a burger in Mammoth on Mother's day, we hit John's Pizza Works.. Wife and I split the 1/2lb Mammoth burger and an order of beer battered onion rings. Absolutely no complaints!! Great burger and rings.......it's self service, from ordering to pick-up and getting your drinks. Rustic atmosphere and with a bit of good music and sports on the big screen. We nestled in by the fire and had a great lunch. Always a good thing to find a great place on the first try....we'll definitely be back with the rest of our group in tow💯🧡”

“Pretty good food, and of course kinda pricey as much of Mammoth restaurants are. We had turkey sandwich with side salad, bbq turkey sandwich with side salad and burger with fries. Burger was good, but basic and fries were good. Turkey sandwiches were OK, but missing something. I wished I had gone with a club or blt so there would be more freshness on it. Side salad was really great. Good size and very fresh and tasty. Red onion was perfect-sweet and delicious. Seating doenstairs and up made nice atmosphere and some view. I'd recommend, but not rave about it.”

“It is a pretty cool spot. My group got to try the pool and co-op hot tub! Pretty nice. The steam room is a bit small... It has two levels but only two spots on the upper where the steam works better so you have to be lucky to get one of those. I tried the pool table but the fabric is pretty bit up and the cues definitely need to be replaced but hey... If you aren't a professional player... It does the job and you can have a good time. The gym is well equipped and everything is super clean. Nice staff. Nice view.”

We had no issues parking, and even though there’s no AC, we were plenty comfortable with the windows open. “Great place for dinner if you enjoy good BBQ. Group went late in the evening. Not crowded. Drink variety was nice. The Smokeyard coffee was a nice warming touch to dinner.
