“Lovely gallery. The art in there is very beautiful and very interesting and you can buy it and other souvenirs. They have a cafe and I had banana bread. It was quite tasty and moist; although pricey ($5) but what can you expect from a tourist area. The views from the upper patio were absolutely beautiful. They have bathrooms there. It's a nice stop while winding up or down hwy 1.”

Café Rustica

Address: 10 Del Fino Pl, Carmel Valley, CA 93924, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“Sit outside. The interior is nice and the open kitchen fun to watch. But it's extremely noisy and hard to hear just across the table. The servers have to raise their voice just so that everyone at a 4 top can hear. The pizzas were good. The steak was correctly cooked. Extra effort was put into our vegan dishes as requested. But one guest's pork medallions were over cooked. I wouldn't rush back.”

McDonald's

From Scratch Restaurant

Address: 3626 The Barnyard, Carmel-By-The-Sea, CA 93923, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“BEST BISCUITS AND GRAVY EVER!!! What else can I say? After an underwhelming breakfast the day before at First Awakenings in Monterey, we searched for a place that would serve breakfast but have a unique twist to it. The biscuit and gravy was made of freshly made cheese biscuits (I think they were toasted with butter ????) with a delicious sausage patty in it and covered with a delicious and unique tasting gravy that made the first bite amazing. I enjoyed it until my last bite! Wife enjoyed her eggs Florentine and side of pancakes and biscuit.”

Carmel Coffee And Cocoa Bar

Address: Carmel Plaza, Garden Level, Ocean Avenue &, Mission St, Carmel-By-The-Sea, CA 93921, USA

“Food was pretty good, but the employees were rude. Asking for water gets you a tiny paper cup. They sort-of wait on you. They were short with us and not friendly, helpful, or welcoming. But again, the panini was decent, maybe 4/5. Cash only.”

Treehouse Café

Address: San Carlos St, Carmel-By-The-Sea, CA 93921, USA

Restaurant Cafe

“We celebrated my birthday here. Daniel - our server has given us 5 stars service. He made us feel so welcomed. Excellent Mediterranean food, Greek salad was freshly made with care. The grilled calamari was so delicate( although I wished they actually would grilled it instead of battered it). Very delicious though. The chicken kabobs was tender, juicy and very flavorful( I’m very picky when it comes to chicken kabobs). Treehouse Cafe got this down.I would come back again on my next trip.”

Cafe Del Monte

Address: Cunningham Rd, Monterey, CA 93943, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“For years they would not remove the onions from the burgers on request. Not on purpose, I just don't think the cook understood or cared. But things have improved and they seem to listen to customers. Now if we can just stop them from mass producing their breakfast burritos and letting them get soggy, this would be my place for food.”

I may be late to the party but people were here to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries and I can understand why. The atmosphere was one of celebration and enjoyment. As I said, the food was delicious and the wine pours were beyond the stinginess you typically receive at restaurants. I will definitely be returning! And you should visit! I only can only give so much praise, but try for yourself.”

If you go further in the restaurant, make sure to take a good look at the wall paintings, they'll give you a good laugh. It's like playing"I spy" but with a whole wall instead of just a book.”

Etats-Unis

Restaurant Cafe

“Wonderful food, warm atmosphere, great service. We have eaten here a few times and have always had excellent service and of course food. We tend to share the entree so that we have room for an app and maybe dessert. The escargot is by and far our favorite preparation and is so delicious. McDonald's

Address: 1213 S Main St, Salinas, CA 93901, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“McDonald's had just opened at 5:30 a.m. when my husband and I stopped to get breakfast for the day. We had been on the road all night and just got into the Salinas area (our destination), so we needed a short respite. The new order screens were up and working, but a very friendly young woman grabbed us and offered to take our order. She was so pleasant, kind, and helpful, it made ordering easy and even fun. We sat down and talked only a few minutes when our order was ready. It was fresh and hot and even smelled delicious. Our orange juice was cold, and the meal was brought to us at our table. My only complaint is that McDonald's is still using single use straws--and customers aren't asked if they need or want a straw. This practice is extremely wasteful and bad for the environment. For this reason, I reduce their 5 star rating to 4. I also noticed other types of plastics in use, here. The plastic cup for orange juice that I use once, throw away, and it stays in land fills or flows out to the oceans. So wasteful. Come on, McDonald's, get with the program!”

Googie Grill
