“Carmel Grill House opened a couple of weeks ago amidst Covid-19's lockdown. We were patrons of this establishment over the Fourth of July weekend. Despite the difficult circumstances of their opening, the Mediterranean food stood out amongst Carmel's more American restaurants. We noticed them because of their elaborate candle lit outdoor dining. They were out of the eggplant and the moussaka, but the mezze platter, the lamb shank and the chicken wings with the delicious buttery rice was quite the treat. Their creamy Black Forest and NY cheesecake were the cherry on top and were exceptional desserts too. I highly recommend trying dinner here! If anything, I thought the name could be a little less generic!”

“Hands down, one of the best place to eat in Carmel. We ordered take out and the food was clean, fresh, and fantastic. The staff and owner are also wonderful, are they are vigilant with the current hygiene situation. The location is very convenient, and we highly recommend this place. We have tried a lot of other restaurants in Carmel that have many more reviews, but this place is far more superior than all the other ones combined.”

“Catch was excellent in both food and service. The food came out in a quick, and fresh capacity. The staff was friendly, attentive, and not pushy. The market fish was fresh, and the tacos were to die for. There were additional perks: live music, complementary champagne and caviar, and a visit from the owner. The bread was fresh and the balsamic vinegar was a nice touch. Great place, close to the beach. Highly recommend.”

“The calamari was okay and they didn't honor a coupon for a free starter because we were not sitting in, during a time when dine in is not allowed or discouraged....beyond that bit of bad... The clam chowder bread bowl was AMAZING!! The sour dough bread was perfect the chowder some of the best ever! The staff was nice and quick in getting us taken care of and out the door.”

“Love eating here, we moved back from the Bay Area and have been craving Korean fried chicken, we were so happy to find this place! Met the owner and he is super kind and friendly! We usually get the soy and garlic wings and the green onion wings, love them both so much! crispy on the outside and so juicy on the inside!! the fries are really great too, crisp and crunchy but super melt in your mouth!! Also the only place we've found so far in the area where we can get certain flavors of soju. Definitely one of our favorite spots in the area.”

“My girlfriend and I found this place while we were driving through Pacific Grove today. We each got a slice of pizza, one pepperoni and one prosciutto/arugula slice. Honestly, one of the best slices of pizza I have ever had. You could tell the quality of ingredients was really high and the ratio of cheese to sauce was perfect. Overall great food. The staff was friendly and the ordering process and the inside was clean. Really good overall experience!”

“It is just like the commercials! Great service, great food, and it's family friendly! I chose this location as a first date yesterday to try to impress her. We tried the fabled "Nugget in a Biscuit" that the chef recommended. Let me tell you, we loved it and ended up buying another round. After paying the insanely cheap bill, my date said that she looks forward to the next date! This place tastes and looks amazing! It also doesn't hurt your bank account which is a plus.
